Is Matic definitely out of this game?

Seems strange that both Matic and Brano got conveniently 'injured' in the same game given Serbia have nothing to play for in their respective qualifying group. Could be wrong but I think they'll both be fit for Villa.

I really hope this game is the starting point for a strong season, but i am afraid i hoped that in each game this season.

We have to attack from the beginning and finish the game in the first half.

We must sign stones and marquinhos this January at all costs, roman must back mourinho not only by words but with money that he needs to get his targets.

Im keen to see some changes from Mourinho. Terry and Zouma to start because of the balance in qualities between the two of them and think it'll be good for Zouma to learn from Terry for the future.

 

Would like to to see RLC have a run in the team and see if he can become a first team reg, give Fab a rest and introduce him after a couple of games just to take some attention of his form. Agree with Ivanovic doing the same and put Azpi on the right Rahman on the left.

 

I like the idea of playing Hazard where Oscar has been playing to just give him a slightly different role and to find his form again. I think start Pedro and Willian and if we don't see much more desire from Pedro, throw Kenedy on against Villa then start him for a couple of games. Costa up top and get him back on form and use his temper and frustration to wind teams up and not the other way round. 

 

Buzzing for Villa because its my first game back at Stamford Bridge for years and looking forward to making it a more regular thing. Does anyone know how early people get to Brogans before the game?

I was a bit of a fan of Felipe Luis myself and believe he could have easily forced himself into the first team this season given other players form.... alas we sold him so surely this is the time for Baba to be given a run.

 

You couldn't pick a softer fixture to ease him into the starting 11 for Premiership games.

 

Bringing RLC in for Fabregas should balance out this height issue as well.

It's starting to look like Baba was a club signing and not Jose's. 

 

Much in the same way KDB, Salah and Cuadrado were. 

 

Basically, it's not he's signing he has little time or patience for them and I sometimes feel like he avoids using those players on purpose.
