Im probably missing someone as well. Dont pay inflated transfer fees when you have that amount of talent going unused. 5 of them are fully capped internationals if Im not mistaken and two of those are teenagers. That team even has champions league experience.

The more I watch Andreas Christensen the more Im convinced Stones can talk a long walk off a short pier. Watch the CL game vs City, hardly put a foot wrong. 19 year old, multiple caps for Denmark, starting a champions league game against the best team in England and he turns in a great performance. Why do we need John Stones next summer?

We were shown up badly by PSG last time, can't see how anything has improved since then but the pressure is really on this time to do well and hopefully win it . If we get back to normal, form wise and get some breaks, we can give it a good go. KTBFFH !!!

Neither would I, didn't want him to leave in the first place. 

 

From the squad we had in the final, Bosingwa, Kalou, Drogba, Ferreira, Essien, Malouda and Torres. Then there's players like Mikel, etc who have been improved upon with signings like Matic.

Drogba and Lampard were but they dug in to give one last big performance each.

I hope I don't get hated for this but I really would like to see hazard go over anyone else. We can get top money for him, and although I'm really fond of Costa I still think we are lacking a top class striker too if we had someone like aguero then Costa would be second choice all day.

 

Player like hazard is not easy to come by, sure we can get top money but how to replace him? lvp and spurs found it the hard way.. I think a manager like pep with his set up system would unleash hazard..

Now his style has changed, no longer making this runs as we saw in the first game. It maybe he carries a bit of injury, but I think our problem is systematic. Unless we get one of the top 5 players who could win matches on his own, I doubt a squad player will improve us. 

I doubt the Board will release any funds for Mourinho to spend next January.  Nor will there be any players worth buying during the winter transfer window.  Will have to wait till next summer.  Meanwhile, Mourinho will have to make do with what he has.

We shouldnt buy our way out of this. Its time for the club to take a stand and build character. Get out of this without spending 100 million would be nice.

Point is though we need to get Champions League do if we have to spend money to achieve that then we absolutely should. End of the day if we do spend a huge amount in Jan (which I think we won't) then I see it as maybe players we should have brought in in the Summer.

We have pretty much the same squad as last year and it won the title. We've added a left back we won't play and a centre back (apparently) too.

It's not the personnel it's tactical and motivational.
