Who to buy in the next transfer window and who to sell ?

In the summer I'd say we need a few players. In terms of a central defender, some names that spring to mind are Kostas Manolas, fairly young and very talented, or there's Sokratis from Dortmund, I would say Jermome Boateng but I doubt we could get him, could we go in for Stones again? I think we may need another left back, so Mendy, seeing as Ivan might be on his way, I also think this team needs more physicality, so could we not get Wanyama from Southampton? Or there's a player called Krychowiak from Seville, who we could just call Bob. We could do with a more defensive, more physical wide man, so Asamoah maybe, up front I'm not sure that Bamford will get a look in, so Dzyuba? He's quite a strong, aggressive player, not quite like Costa though, or how about going in for Hernandez? Premier League proven. I've thought about this in some detail, because I feel like the style we are playing with, the players we are playing with, it needs changing, we need to go back to power and pace, we have too many small/weak players, also the formation desperately needs changing, I'd love to see two up front, some one like a Hernandez could work.

If only we could clone 2006-2008 versions of Lampard, Ballack and Essien

That would be great. Or poyet di Matteo petrescu and wise himself would be pretty good too.

Players with more fight and one player with a lttle less fight lol

I guess if we could take some of Diego's fight and split it within the rest of the team we would get a perfect balance lol.

Hernandez is an excellent choice . Sup sub for Manure and always looked dangerous !!

I know Costa is a naturally aggressive player but I imagine the reason he is taking the piss with it this season is because that's exactly what the manager has asked him to do. More often than not it works in our favour, although if the public outcry and retrospective punishments continue I would think he will be asked to tone it down somewhat as his aggression might become more of a liability than an advantage.

Jose' likes battering ram center forwards and to pretty good effect as well. Costa's is like Drog's on steroids with a gallon of red bull thrown in before kick off as well. Trouble is when he aint there, as well as Drogs before him we struggle. Just need to find somone who can understudy and sub, someone who even if we have to change tactics a bit will be a plan B for the inevitable time Costa's banned or injured.

A center back is a must next season, hummel, varane..

A striker, an ilk of aguero/suarez (skill wise), can't yet pinpoint the name, maybe it will become clearer as the season go on.. we'll see..

sell those who on loan ( not youngsters) and mikel

I believe both ivan and terry would be out of contract next summer so this 1 plays by itself

That's all.. we got a squad in the 1st place, no need an overhaul..

Ive always liked Arron Ramsey and thought he may have been a good replacement for FL, although probably not as many goals.

As for a 2nd/3rd choice striker I would like to see Bamford get a chance, if hes sitting on a bench it may as well here rather than Palace.

There is a lot of good young defenders about but I think defences on whole are not as good as a few years back. There is hardly any clean sheets in the premier league most weekends, although this does make for more exciting matches.

NOBODY. Time to buckle down and fight. We have a entire team of young talent we arent using.

........Bamford

Kenedy...Traore....Moses

...Van Gink...RLC

Ake...Kalas..Andreas..Aina

Solanke, Musonda, both Chalobahs, Wallace, Omeruo, Boga

Im probably missing someone as well. Dont pay inflated transfer fees when you have that amount of talent going unused. 5 of them are fully capped internationals if Im not mistaken and two of those are teenagers. That team even has champions league experience.

The more I watch Andreas Christensen the more Im convinced Stones can talk a long walk off a short pier. Watch the CL game vs City, hardly put a foot wrong. 19 year old, multiple caps for Denmark, starting a champions league game against the best team in England and he turns in a great performance. Why do we need John Stones next summer?

Has anyone on here seen a lot of Lewis Baker recently? I think we need another CM in the mould of Fabregas who can dictate the play whilst ideally contributing more defensively and I remember hearing lots of good things about him, good passing range, free-kicks, two-footed etc.

I doubt the Board will release any funds for Mourinho to spend next January.  Nor will there be any players worth buying during the winter transfer window.  Will have to wait till next summer.  Meanwhile, Mourinho will have to make do with what he has.

What about Emmanuel Adebayor?

Just about to post a thread about him actually but thought it was too early.

He needs a Fresh start somewhere and I think he'll fit in to exactly what we need.

On Fifa 15, I signed him up for us and he was our top scorer.

Would you ever f**k off back to your own team's forum?

It was a figure of speech but I was talking about this season would genuinely put him alongside them. He's done absolutely nothing positive.

Neither Hutton nor Simpson are responsible for the same amount of goals as Ivanovic.

Whats Ricky Lambert up to ? I like him, he wont set the world on fire but he's a good old fashioned center forward that scores. Or is it our turn to try Ballotelli, he must have pissed off someone by now and looking for a new club !!

I'd prefer us to finally start bringing in the youth rather than buying.

I'd take us losing with youth in the team rather than losing with experience heads in the side.

Wishful thinking I know, as trophies are the aim and you need to be consistent for this, something young players often lack.

A part of me wouldn't mind taking a hit for a year or two to see Kalas, Christensen and Ake get games at the back.  i think striker wise we have two players that know they play second string and while they aren't complaining it's good to have them.

No thanks on Pogba and Stones for me.  If we do go in, Hummels would be awesome

How many really promising kids neve make it and just disappear though !! Josh Mcleclan, we all thought he was good enough to make the grade ; sadly not . Gael Kakuta such a furory around him as he was supposed to be a future superstar ; sadly not. Would it be fair to say that < 1:10 of our really promising looking kids actually make it ?

I don't see how not fulfilling their potential by constantly playing in the Juniors makes it better?  Perhaps other players have not made it anywhere because they weren't exposed to the higher grades sooner?

If they are all going to be no good, let's fast track this realisation by playing them a bit, and move them on if they can't perform?  Why is Mourinho so opposed to playing some young kids but then not with others?

Ward-Prowse, Stones, Barkley, Grealish etc all getting games in the seniors, pulling their own weight.

I hope I don't get hated for this but I really would like to see hazard go over anyone else. We can get top money for him, and although I'm really fond of Costa I still think we are lacking a top class striker too if we had someone like aguero then Costa would be second choice all day.

I guess its just really tough and a very high standard wanted. One slip one wrong word and you're out of favour. Hers an interestig thing I wonder if Harry Kane would have got through with us or just would have been loaned out like Patrick Bamford. Maybe  really successful sides like us is not the best place for these kids !!

Manure were the masters of selling players when they were at the top of their game and worth zillions, Ronaldo, Van Nistleroy come to mind !! Perhaps its not such a bad idea, considering the amount of times Hazard is fouled, how long will it be until he's seriously injured.

Good luck finding a striker who will better a strike rate of 20 league goals in 26 appearances in this market.
