October 11, 201510 yr I really don't think 1 or 2 rush buys will fix our problems. I look at Pedro, great debut, then his form just dropped after he spent more time with the team. Now his style has changed, no longer making this runs as we saw in the first game. It maybe he carries a bit of injury, but I think our problem is systematic. Unless we get one of the top 5 players who could win matches on his own, I doubt a squad player will improve us. I also agree with you, except it's 'systemic', not systematic.
October 11, 201510 yr I also agree with you, except it's 'systemic', not systematic. Systemic, systematic, solely silly semantics.
October 11, 201510 yr I also agree with you, except it's 'systemic', not systematic. Its hydromatic......
October 11, 201510 yr Well this car is automatic... Edit: Almost forgot to include the video. Good song. Edited October 11, 201510 yr by Zinc
October 11, 201510 yr If we could keep him fit, Gundogan would be a really good fit I think. Lately there is a trend - players from Dortmund can "adapt" only in Bundesliga...
October 12, 201510 yr @ChelsTransfer: Chelsea are already in talks with Everton centre-back John Stones and will make a £36m move in January. #CFC #EFC (Mundo Deportivo)
October 12, 201510 yr @ChelsTransfer: Chelsea are already in talks with Everton centre-back John Stones and will make a £36m move in January. #CFC #EFC (Mundo Deportivo) He is cup-tied for the league cup only, right? Should be slightly lower in price if that is so. Oh well.
October 12, 201510 yr A new centre half and another midfielder are the priorities. Same as in the summer...
October 12, 201510 yr A new right back is the priority whether it's in the winter or summer transfer window. The priority to oust Ivanovic from the team can only be remedied with a purchase as Mourinho will not drop him for any other reason. Edited October 12, 201510 yr by lchk
October 12, 201510 yr Please go for Victor Wanyama-He has been linked with Spurs but I believe he will do a fantastic job in front of our defense
October 12, 201510 yr We have an entire team of players we've already bought just waiting for a chance.
October 13, 201510 yr I have one major issue... Why don't you post as much anymore?! I'm still on here, reading. I don't post as often as a few years ago but generally i prefer only to post when I have something meaningful to add
October 13, 201510 yr Wouldn't surprise me if we signed Rubén Neves and Stones. Neves is 18, Portuguese and a defensive minded midfielder who captains Porto. Jose's dream player.
October 13, 201510 yr Wouldn't surprise me if we signed Rubén Neves and Stones. Neves is 18, Portuguese and a defensive minded midfielder who captains Porto. Jose's dream player. I would prefer tielemans over neves, but do we really need another centre mid at that age when we have rlc knocking on the door, and lewis baker starting to shine at Vitesse.
October 14, 201510 yr I would be surprised if Chelsea signs any player in January 2016. There aren't any top caliber players available then.
October 14, 201510 yr I prefer us not to sign anyone in January, let the fringe players prove their worth, and do business at the end of the season.
October 14, 201510 yr I prefer us not to sign anyone in January, let the fringe players prove their worth, and do business at the end of the season. I'd rather we didn't sign someone for the sake of it but if we can get a target now then get them now. No point waiting around especially when our seasons going so badly.

October 14, 201510 yr Don't think anyone worth buying is available in January. Whom do you have in mind? Well if our targets are Stones and Koke we may aswell make moves for them. Although I highly doubt were going to get either of those in January.
October 14, 201510 yr WAGNH has quoted a Spanish site as saying that we are "almost certain" to bid for Yarmolenko in January. José has apparently already spoken to his agent. If successful, that will take our number of wingers to about 50. Presumably Traoré (and possibly Kenedy?) to go out on loan then.

If we're buying him you would think (hope) we've reached an agreement with Juventus for the sale of Cuadrado. Is he any better than Pedro, Willian or Hazard? Is there much point to the purchase? Unless of course Oscar is to be sold and Willian/Hazard moved inside? Dunno, all seems a bit pointless, much like Salah and Cuadrado purchases were.
October 14, 201510 yr Maybe José's given up on having centre mids considering how poor the first-choice seem to be. ---------------------Courtois Ivanovic-----Cahill-----Terry-----Azpi ---------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------- ----------------------Oscar Pedro-----Willian--------Hazard----Yarmolenko -----------------------Costa
