Morata is slightly injury prone and isn't use to a full season of leading the line by himself this may therefore mean that Abraham when brought into the squad and Michy this seasons will likely get opportunities for game time even in a 1 man striking system. 

He also doesn't look like a big ego and therefore may not mind being rotated. 

Furthermore he looks very suited to a 2 striker formation, and in particular a 3-5-2 which Conte has used at both Juve and Italy. He could therefore potentially be a good foil for Abraham to play as his future partner.

This plus on paper it's a good partnership as what they bring to the table is contrasting.

That makes sense @PedroMendez. @Argo. Just hope it works out 

 

Been probably the best player on the pitch in the Swans Sampadoria friendly, just gone off with a slight knock absolutely brilliant in the build up for his goal. 

Swansea fans seems really happy with having him, he took his pre season really well. Scored goals, impressed with his form. I just hope he will get those minutes in the premier league!

Llorente is out for the first few games so he should at least be able to start those, so he should have a chance to stake his claim for ayew's slot

yeah just saw the player ratings for the match and everyone got a 6 or 7, but abraham got an 8 and the article said he was the star man. great to hear he's doing well. also funny the team utd beat 2-1 got 4 put past them by swansea. 

He's in my fantasy team for this season so hope he gets game time the lad is goals.

Anyone know the terms of his loan deal? I.e. Can we recall him in Jan/any time? Hope so.

Definitely.He has impressed in pre-season too. Picked up a slight injury in Swansea's win over Sampdoria but should be fit enough for this Saturday. Llorent is expected to miss Swansea's first 2 games at least. Guess who Swansea play in their 2nd game? Mourinho's United. Should be starting that and hopefully does us a big favour.

Me too. Got 5 big names instead of 4 as I could buy RLC and Tammy for a combined fee of 9. Think both can get some points.

Put a fiver on the lad being this years top scorer whilst I know its unlikely 66/1 was to good to miss

honestly, i think 10 league goals would be very good accomplish for him. i would be over the moon with that accomplishment.

Yeah that would be a decent return especially seeing as he has only had one year of senior experience, that said, I'm hoping he can get to 15 or more to equal or exceed what Llorente achieved last season and make a real claim as to why he should be in the squad next year.

On a sidenote when he scores more than Rashford this season, do you reckon he will get the same kind of hype or even a call up to the England team?

probably get a call up eventually, but he would be competing vs defoe, vardy, kane. i wouldn't want him rushed into anything anyway he's still like 19/20.

I watched a bit of the game and he looked sharp, had one or two good chances. Had one moment of brilliance where he was unlucky to get his shot blocked. Got taken off near the end but I think he should of been left on, as the game opened up a bit. Impressive debut imo.

His turn in the box before his shot was blocked was different class. Absolutely brilliant awareness and it looked like that shot was going in to me.

 

I felt he could have done better with his header earlier in the match.
