November 2, 201510 yr where has the form gone? does the club regret not signing another top drawer player or even another striker? the club should certainly regret signing Falcao, what a waste..... do the likes of cesc and pedro regret joinging the club?
November 2, 201510 yr We must surely have regrets about not improving the team in the Summer. Tbh many of us were worried after the Summer but none thought it would be this bad. If you're talking about players regretting joining maybe Pedro (although its early doors) but I don't see why Fabregas would. He won the league last season in this country and was thrilled about that.
November 2, 201510 yr Not strengthening our side over the summer was a mistake, but not a 15th in the table mistake.
November 2, 201510 yr Not strengthening our side over the summer was a mistake, but not a 15th in the table mistake. What do you mean Zeta?
November 2, 201510 yr Of course the club regrets. They are responsible for not buying what was needed. It is not easy but they failed.
November 2, 201510 yr Regrets buying Cuadrado, Salah, Papy, Rahman and Falcao. Selling Felipe Luis, Mata and KDB.
November 2, 201510 yr Not signing Stones early in transfer window or any other top defender. Not much we can do when Everton wouldn't sell
November 2, 201510 yr Author Defenders are one thing but season after season we fail to find a true number 9. A striker to hit 20+ goals when it matters. Jose can ponce about with the tippy tappy pedro hazard and Oscar but it's goals that are needed. Never has a player been missed more than lamps
November 2, 201510 yr Author The curse of the chelsea striker strikes again with falcao. Followed on from Torres, Ba, anelka, shevchenko, mutu, flo?? Casarahgi to name a few. We have a bad history of strikers.
November 2, 201510 yr The curse of the chelsea striker strikes again with falcao. Followed on from Torres, Ba, anelka, shevchenko, mutu, flo?? Casarahgi to name a few. We have a bad history of strikers. Anelka and Ba were more than ok for us I think, they did their jobs well, and both chipped in with a few vital goals for us. I agree though, we need an Aguero / Lewandowski / Suarez type striker, someone who can win us a game from nothing, because currently we haven't got a single one of those players
November 2, 201510 yr Anelka was OK, so was Flo, Ba did fine given the amount of time he got on the field.
November 2, 201510 yr Casiraghi! Not heard that name in a while, it seemed to take him a while to get his first goal, against Liverpool I think, then not long after he got a career ending leg break.
November 3, 201510 yr I was a massive ba fan, same with flo. Ba was excellent for the money we paid, deserved more game time and i would welcome him here now. I actually quite liked Eto too, just a shame Torres wasnt benched more. My problem has been since then, Drogba's second stint ruined his legacy, i also find it very hard to like Costa, the way he behaves is a disgrace, an embarrasment to the team, Remy is OK, and Falcao was a project for Mourinho to prove he is better than LVG which has most spectacularly backfired.
November 3, 201510 yr Anelka was far better than OK for us let's not forget how important he was not only in our double winning season but the season before when he won the golden boot. Anelka probably had his best years in football with Chelsea.

Huh? It really didn't. Bizarre comment, yes he wasn't the same player but he did a job for us, scored some important goals, it's obvious now his influence in the dressing room was massively important and let's not forget he walked away with a double.
November 3, 201510 yr Anelka was OK What funny memories people have... "Anelka, 30, becomes the second Frenchman to win the Premier League top scorer award after Thierry Henry, as well as becoming the third Chelsea player to do so, after Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Didier Drogba. 24 May 2009 Goal.com Better than OK.
November 3, 201510 yr What do you mean Zeta?I think he means it was a mistake not to strengthen in the summer, but not big enough of a mistake to end up 15th.So more than the strengthening has gone wrong.
November 3, 201510 yr I think he means it was a mistake not to strengthen in the summer, but not big enough of a mistake to end up 15th. So more than the strengthening has gone wrong. Ahh yeah he's right
November 3, 201510 yr Not much we can do when Everton wouldn't sell A bit stupid though to put all your eggs in that one basket
November 3, 201510 yr The board probably regret not backing Jose in the window. They backed him the summer before and he won the league at a canter.
