This is likely Steve Holland's only chance to be in sole charge of a team like CHelsea, so will he stick with Mourinho's tried and trusted, or try something new himself?

Aiming for that 100% win rate...

I don't have a choice, do i? Guess will be happy with the results but will probably not be buying their jerseys. All a little insignificant man like me could do.

No need to be that humble by calling yourself insignificant..

Well, if not buying a jersey is your only form of tantrum then I think we'll do allright.. I believe the happy results would help ease things up for you, don't worry, you'll get through this, if you're really a chelsea fan that is..

Can't wait for tomorrow game, exciting..

a lot of us are upset about the sacking

its done now, I wish SH & steady Eddie all the best for tomorrow, but cant see any wholesale lineup & tactical changes

on the cards, they will I am sure be playing not to lose just like the departed manager was,

without a list of names its not possible to single out any 'Judases' if any really exist, I hope the team

starts to improve tomorrow, I would like a home win, but am rather ambiguous in my expectations-

human nature is just that, and I like a lot of other lifetime fans on here feel betrayed by the events of yesterday

just like Jose did last Monday

I'm sure this feeling in due course will pass, albeit slowly if the form continues to falter and like most modern fickle fans a lot faster if the

team even with 1 or 2 alleged 'judases' goes on a streak !

Come on Chelsea !!!

Think you will be disappointed. All things point to Steve Holland, one of Jose's assistants, picking the team.

So expect the same sort of team we are used to.

You'll be pleasantly surprised I feel, even if the team is the same the tactics/approach to the game will be different. Assistant managers have their own ideas, just because he's worked with Jose doesn't mean he shares the same values in terms of tactics and lineups.

Jose got sacked for a reason, I doubt he would be too keen to go out there and replicate what we have seen under Jose.

Hope you are right. Am pvr ING the game and will watch it Saturday night here.

Hoping for a win and a good performance. The win being the most important part. Sunderland are a pain in our ar*e at the best of times though so am not expecting a win.

I hope the team comes through with a dominant performances and carries that forward.

If Mourinho was just fired and these players can't recover and make their way up the table, the future could get pretty ugly.

I think it would be wise to remove Hazard from the firing line, umm squad, even if fit. Lose-lose for him if he plays tomorrow and he is now even more essential to any recovery this season.

Someone said it'd be wise to play Kennedy to get the fans something positive. 100% agree and suspect we might even see two youth tomorrow (RLC too perhaps).

Might be curious to see some payers faces when the chants for Mourinho ring out.

Don't take it out on the players, guys.  Jose brought it all upon himself.  His rather unfair attack on Dr. Eva and then humiliating her.  Jose has serious character flaws.  It bound to happen sooner or later.  The club needs stability and Jose never the one to provide it....we can see that in all his previous clubs.  Hope he learns from this.

The fans need to get behind the players if they want to see Chelsea climb up the table.

well, that's positive, very good.. guess we should have enough to beat sunderland even without hazard..

yeah, why is it so difficult for some people to grasp that fact? There is no other way and I believe it's the board intention when they fired the manager..

I think we're going to win. Why because Mou is gone and the players will be upbeat about it. At least the ones that wanted him gone, which is in all likelihood a majority.

But, this means when we win this one, it will be meaningless since our team will be wandering around like headless chicken thinking they know it all, which in all likelihood as in the past, they don't.

I do disapprove of the revolving door of managers in favour of keeping the players.

Yes those who want jose to be out will hopefully perform, but those who was loyal and put their life in the pitch may underperform. Jose is a hero. Only positive that I see is Kennedy and RLC getting chance to play. Nothing else.

The thing is the guys who were trying their damndest for Jose are the ones who behave as "professionals " should behave and they will be equally professional today.
