But being objective why would he choose Chelsea over City?

They do have a better squad and are better placed to win things than ourselves.

Why take on a massive project like ourselves when he can continue his unparalleled, sustained success in a third country?

Pep and Mou don't get on. What better FU than Pep come in and fix Mou's hole.

pep going to city has put a right dampener on proceedings for me. we need a manager who is just as tactically adept and can think outside the box.

Give me one reason why Emenalo is the satan and the root to all evil at Chelsea! We have no idea how these people operate. f**king hate this mindless shouting to a person who you don't know at all.

For many, Emenalo is the figurehead of an inept board who have made numerous questionable decisions.

For others, he's a patsy who has been put into a position he doesn't deserve.

For a lot, he's the idiot who came out on Chelsea TV and did a piss-poor job explaining the sacking of a manager we all loved.

Either he's the brains behind our sh*tty transfer dealings over the past 12 months or he's a man who has no real responsibility in a role that demands it. Either way, the supporters of this club deserve better.

Based on what information? None. or slim I'm predicting. You can shout you have the right but for many it would just look stupid.

Your only real showing is the Jose sacking. For me he was the messenger who was sent to lions and he did an okay job in a spot you can't win at. Everyone knew including Emenalo Jose was loved by the fans and at Chelsea-scale he was given plenty of time to turn it around.

I can't say he has done a good or a bad job but to out all the hate to that one man is just stupid.

Emanalo is not a big hitter, he is just a simple messenger who reports to the Lady CEO Marina Granovskai, she is the one who controls the transfers in and out and tells Emanalo what to say to the media......don't shoot the messenger !

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I hope when the new long-term coach is appointed that he insists he wants a say in all transfer comings & goings and is allowed to select his backroom team. That should mean no position for Emanalo so we can say thanks and so long. No-one really knows what he does but one thing is pretty certain, he won't be missed.

So he's just a messenger? Don't you want more from that position then that?

The best defence of him seems to be that he doesn't actually have any responsibility which is perhaps even more worrying. In that case who is in charge of footballing affairs at this club?

It certainly isn't the coach or his staff because they're easily disposable.

It probably isn't Neil Bath or the academy staff because they can't even get their players into the first-team.

The answer is one of two people - Roman or Emenalo, and both is the wrong answer.

stop being a twat.

You claim Emenalo is terrible and must be removed  based on an interview. You don't know what his actual role is. If the club was unwilling to invest that's not his fault, If Jose was unwilling to change tactics that didn't work that's not Emenalo's fault.

We have a board, coaches and Emenalo. They hopefully discuss these things over with each other. To me it seems Jose's sacking was a must. Buck could have given that interview but it was Emenalo. Make it what you will.

I'm not saying he doesn't have a big responsibility but to say he was all alone behind it and behind some questionable signings is stupid.

You/someone could make that list of the signings again and decide whether they were good, poor or even his signings.

We have a vast scouting network and huge resources so I'm not sure how much credit should go to him.

The thing is that you don't seem to be able to decide whether he's a passenger or the conductor or the driver. What we can say is that he came to this club with no track record to speak of, was promoted questionably under the management of his former coach Avram Grant and that in his time here we've failed to establish a single cohesive idea of what it is we want to do as a football club.

Either he's not been given the power to succeed in which case Roman is at fault or he doesn't have the ability to succeed in which case Roman is also at fault.

There is no case FOR Emenalo though. You can't look at where we were when he took over and where we are now and say he's done a good job because there's been no consistency and no plan put in place for continued success. Despite that I think he's been quite lucky.

We are in a bad place because of Jose. It was Jose that sold lukaku, Mata, KDB, Bertrand etc. It was Jose who kept playing players who were playing badly, It was Jose who squandered the best academy in Europe.

You claim tha Emenalo is terrible, but you can't prove he has done something wrong.

Who hired Jose? Who looked at the 'best academy in Europe' and 'Lukaku, Mata, KDB etc.' and thought Jose Mourinho would be the best man for the job despite having no track record in achieving success in that way?

Jose didn't appoint himself. He was hired to bring immediate success (because that's WHY you hire Jose) and he did it.

Who hired him?
