December 29, 201510 yr He failed to book Herrera when he took a blatant kick at Hazard, and as he later booked him Herrera was never carded today, but he sure was kicking players all over the pitch like it was already New Year's You could also make a case for two yellows for the two Martial dives. +1
December 29, 201510 yr Decent result in hindsight, but what worries me most is the fact we havent got a midfielder with the ability to play a decent defence splitting pass. People can give out about Fabregas as much as they like but until we start pushing him up the pitch goals arent going to come. Absolutely love Jose but some of his decisions in the market are leading to our demise. De Bruyne, Lukaku even Bertrand let go and all would now get into our team. Our midfield is a disgrace and we give Ramires a 4 year contract who cannot keep the ball for sh*t what sort of a statement is that in the European game nowadays, that is not a decision from a club going in the right direction.. Oscar is just a joke really a few good games then u dont see him for 2 months like a completely different player. Id never wish for it but head over heart best thing for us is to lose a tight CL tie vs PSG cos I dont think they will give us the runaround god forbid if we got Bayern Barca or Real in the quarters, Seems like Jose wanted instant success and he's a master at it but I really fear that a massive long term fall from grace is coming for us particularly when JT is finished. NEED MASSIVE CHANGES IN OUR SQUAD and players willing to play with some heart, honest to god we havent got a nasty streak in us at all, were so so so naive, like Hazard in CL earlier this season goes past player in the box and gets a free penalty and tries to stay on his feet, this is top level football and we play like 7 year olds in the schoolyard
December 29, 201510 yr And also adding to that we never get in the refs ear anymore, we should be harassing them for bookings reminding them of incidents etc, f**k what the media think about us, they all have it out for us anyway, few years ago wed have been all over the ref, gettin slated by the media but where would we be, yep sitting pretty at the top of the table. Feel our players are not interested anymore and it hurts, it hurts badly for us fans
December 29, 201510 yr Thought Hazard was much better today in terms of dribbling and ball retention with the way he danced through them only to look up and receive zero support followed up by an inevitable foul. And for AsianBoy and those who missed yet another Zouma masterpiece... CXVwSMTW8AAdqyx.mp4 This was with Martial having about 15-20 meters headstart with no-one near him for context. December 29, 201510 yr Wow you must be a sh*t ref if even graham poll says we were hard done by: http://dailym.ai/1meI701 Edited December 29, 201510 yr by The Brit
December 29, 201510 yr Wow you must be a sh*t ref if even graham poll says we were hard done by: http://dailym.ai/1meI701 Whilst I agree that he got a lot wrong, thank heavens he didn't give that blatant handball against Willian as that should have been one of the stupidest penalty calls of recent years.
December 29, 201510 yr While a lot of us are, generally, unhappy with eden this season, is not doubt game in and game out he gets kicked out of games. One of the main reasons I believe he will leave. Tired of no protection from the refs.
December 29, 201510 yr anyone have a clip of zouma vs martial, ive never seen someone run so fast https://twitter.com/ChelseaFC_Lat/status/681614596101255169/video/1
December 29, 201510 yr Our first half was pretty awful. Some of our lads weren't showing any passion and ran like headless chickens for the first 45 minutes. Said it earlier during that half, we were playing like a FIFA team without anyone controlling our gamepad against someone who is. Thankfully, our performance improved in the second half and we created more goal-scoring opportunities (Pedro's shot, Matic's miss etc). I felt that our defence was pretty solid throughout and did well to nullify United's threats. Kudos to Tibo for that fantastic save. The referee was poor by the way. United players were regularly kicking/fouling our lads (especially Hazard) throughout the game and he didn't really do much about it. Anyway, a point away at Old Trafford is good enough for me. Hoping for a much better performance in our next game though. Onwards and upwards.

How in de phuck did that happen?
December 29, 201510 yr Inhuman, he hasn't ever had to deal with that. Usually when he glides past someone it's curtains. Even I thought it was curtains when Martial started accelerating!
December 29, 201510 yr Nice *.gifs, but you forgot to put JT's shot in there. BTW CFC had more shots on goal than manure :o I know right? How in de phuck did that happen? As Jose once comically said, "That team plays really well and the ball goes and goes and goes and the quality of the ball possession is good, but they don't score. No points. They asked the FIFA committee if they can win like this but they're told it's not possible. That the bigger possession is not essential to win matches and they are not champions." Sigh, those were the good times. A little random, but I still don't think that the board was right to sack him. They shoud've stick with him till the end of the season and give him the necessary funds for the summer transfer window.
December 29, 201510 yr I think people are over reacting. It's a better result for us than them. They were at home and under pressure. We would have lost that under Jose. I think most people forgot how bad we are under Jose and they are being unrealistic by expecting us to win all our remaining match
December 29, 201510 yr I think most people forgot how bad we are under Jose and they are being unrealistic by expecting us to win all our remaining match You reckon? That looked yesterday like exactly how Mourinho would set up with the players available. Can't say there's been much difference at all in our play in the last 3 games.
December 29, 201510 yr 2 points out of a possible 6 is better than nothing, but hardly an improvement if the team dreams about a top 4 finish... My biggest gripe... Since September each and every game its the same: This has to be the final straw, next game the youth will be played, because you can't keep on playing Matic, Oscar, Ivanovic, Fabregas, Hazard, Costa, Falcao and expect different results to suddenly appear. Fast forward almost four months and the youth have still not been given a chance, Ivanovic, Fabregas, Oscar and co continue to be starting XI players and I'm officially no longer interested in this team. Every game I see the starting line up and its the same 'not again' reaction. Hiddink has only been here two games, but he's basically doing the same that Mourinho failed so miserably at with the minor positive difference of trusting in Mikel.
December 29, 201510 yr Zouma is weapon fast; this is the third time this season he pulls off a recovery like this. He needs time to accelerate, though, which is the key weak spot I guess. But once he is at full tilt, he could chase down a grey hound on speed! My main difficulty with the match was our midfield/pressing game which was inept, and as a result our back-four with Matic and Mikel had to drop so deep and just suck up the pressure. Now, we have done this 100 times over the years, but it was still painful to see us get split with one f'cking pass every time Utd went forward. Matic and Mikel in midfield would always be a "negative" approach of course. In the end, I agree with most of the other comments about no striker. Playing deep/having to defend and then not playing a striker means that our top four players might as well be in the stands having a cuppa with the rest of the fans ;). Obviously, we should give Hiddink the benefit of the doubt here; I reckon he will change things around based on what he is seeing in training, but he has not seen a lot!
December 29, 201510 yr Thought it was a good game despite the 0-0, with both teams getting chances. Ultimately the draw doesn't do either team many favours though. It was clear that two of the best keepers in the world were on display. Edited December 29, 201510 yr by Brixtac
December 29, 201510 yr Awesome tackle but not a big fan of defending with hands behind your back. Would prefer seeing Zouma try to close down Martial and block his pass. If the ball does strike the defender's arm (in a "natural" position) from that distance then it is not a penalty.

December 29, 201510 yr Its a risk of a penalty. I would say 1 in 5 times the end result is a penalty. Agree ... clearly, they have discussed this among the defenders and has settled on this approach. The main problem I have with is not what Zouma did here (IN the box), but when Ivan does it to prevent a cross even well outside the box. If the attacker opts to run instead, he will be planted. To be fair to Ivan, though, he has upped his defensive game recently. But his crossing ... oh deary me, his crossing. Willian too yesterday ... baffling really how players like that can cross so poorly with such consistency!
December 29, 201510 yr You reckon? That looked yesterday like exactly how Mourinho would set up with the players available. Can't say there's been much difference at all in our play in the last 3 games. I think I can see a big from a team that lost at home to STRUGGLERS Bournemouth and a team that kept a clean sheet at Old Trafford. If you can't see much difference then you probably didn't watch us lose easier matches at home this season under Jose
December 29, 201510 yr There was no difference at all, against a team beaten at home by Norwich days ago. Edited December 29, 201510 yr by dkw
December 29, 201510 yr We made United look a lot better than they were. We had absolutely nothing going forward, it was a disgrace. We need an overhaul ASAP.
December 29, 201510 yr Iam gonna give guus the benefit of doubt & hope that the reason hes still using the same old players & tactic is to just steady the ship without rocking it too much just untill we start pulling away from the bottom 3 & then slowly to start introducing the youngsters he did have quite a few of them on the bench yesterday if i recall...anyway onwards & upwards KTBFFH!!!!
