December 28, 201510 yr If we were 5 points clear at the top and went to OT and got a point we'd all be OK with that but today not so much. We set out for the draw from the off. Maybe if Falcao had been fit . . . . . .
December 28, 201510 yr I think people are over reacting. It's a better result for us than them. They were at home and under pressure. We would have lost that under Jose.
December 28, 201510 yr On the plus side we just shifted up one slot. It is at least one step in the right direction. I guess expecting a dramatic U-turn would be unrealistic. That wasnt good today but we held them off and got something from it with a move up to 14th. Lets see what happens next.
December 28, 201510 yr Why don't you f**k off for once ? I'm sick of you coming on here having a go at us. They have been sh*t all season, if i want to point out how sh*t they have been, then i will. It's funny how you always have a go at us, but fail to notice how it's actually the players that are letting the club down. Maybe you should have a go at them for their attitude this season, it's being pathetic. Scotty, petal.if you think what goes on in the match day thread is "supporting" the team, then you are a deluded sad f**k, sitting in your mum's spare room in your underpants, getting offended and self-righteous until you spunk all over her sofa. The players have let us all down this season, but they are still my team. Get behind them of f**k off to Arsenal or Leicester or whatever. That's all.
December 28, 201510 yr The MOTM thread is going to be a real struggle Not really. It's pretty obvious it's Tebo!
December 28, 201510 yr Don't really know what to make of that performance, Nice to get the point 3 games unbeaten now which should build confidence. Even without a recognized striker however I think we should have taken the game to them a bit more we definitely made them look better than they actually are.
December 28, 201510 yr Manchester United vs Chelsea 0-0 Highlights http://sportyhighlights.com/manchester-united-vs-chelsea-0-0-highlights/ Have you ever tried selling the big issue ?
December 28, 201510 yr A point up at OT is not the end of the world However most of the Chelsea players out there today we're not good enough Alright we accepted the clubs action regarding the manager leaving and the players not playing for him New manager in , I don't see any improvement. Lucky United are almost as poor as Chels then Going to be a long 5 months up next.
December 28, 201510 yr Not really. It's pretty obvious it's Tebo! One top save for sure, but JT was immense throughout
December 28, 201510 yr Absolutely embarrassing performance once again. And those that are saying a point at Old Trafford is a decent result can f**k right off - Norwich, Stoke and Bournemouth outplayed them and what do we go and do? Sit behind the ball and make them look like Real f**king Madrid. Its obvious our 4-2-3-1 system doesn't work anymore, Fabregas isn't mobile enough to play either as CDM or No.10 and Oscar struggles to play simple 5 yard passes as we saw today and in most games he plays. Also the less said about Mikel the better. We need to switch back to 4-3-3 if we are to have any hope of a top 10 finish. It would benefit literally every player in our midfield - Matic would have better protection from either side and wouldn't be left to do the job of 2 midfielders, Fabregas would be given licence to roam from deep without being overrun, and Hazard and Pedro/Willian would actually have the freedom to concentrate on attacking rather than having to play as wing-backs. Guus, please do something about it.
December 28, 201510 yr Rooney of the match...? Pathetic, toothless performance. 0 shots on target, missed a sitter, should have been sent of. I'm guessing his mate wio gave him it.

Me self-righteous ? coming from you that is hilarious. I don't go around acting like i'm a better fan than everyone else and calling everyone pricks just because the players are getting deserved critcism. You know why people are angry ? it's because they love the club, they are angry at the players for not giving the same kind of passion back. You pick fights with the fans when your anger should really be aimed at the players, the people who look like they don't give a sh*t about the team this season.
December 28, 201510 yr Happy with the draw.Kept in contact with my grandson(who was there)and he said our supporters were great.Onwards and upwards.....UP THE CHELS!
December 28, 201510 yr To be fair if it was Jose Cesc would be coming on instead Cesc is sick and was unable to play. people are complaining without knowing facts and are talking off their ass.

Im not taking sides in any argument between members, all i will say is that we all love Chelsea FC, but a large number of us fans feel incredibly let down by the players, the managers and the rest of the club. December 28, 201510 yr A good point. We were ok in spells.... on another night we'd have conceded though. Matic blowing that chance was a terrible waste and very frustrating. Onwards and upwards.
December 28, 201510 yr Woeful first half, almost as bad as the Leicester match but a turnaround in the second. Draw is a fair result but both teams are busted flushes. What gets up my goat is the BT panel, two ex United players and Gerrard as a neutral. FFS. And the narrative is how much improved United are! Rooney motm, can you believe it? Misses a sitter and almost breaks Oscar's leg. Should have been de Gea with Courtois a close second. On an optimistic note, Everton/Martinez lost to Stoke. Woopee!
December 28, 201510 yr Man, these match day threads always get fiesty! Play nice chaps, come on! I think the frustration vented here through the match is fair though. I watched the match and commented simultaneously, and even after the fact I see little reason not be anything but supremely frustrated! We were second best, and were lucky not to concede a penalty plus Tibo pulled off an absolute mad save. Obviously the Matic miss is unbelievable, and the Pedro/Hazard chance in the beginning was also annoying. But I stand by my initial conclusion, we were absolutely and utterly woeful and got away with murder. Our midfield was non-existing, and this thing about playing with no striker is just bonkers ... we are inept in this position. Zouma and Terry were very good, and a clean sheet is always good. And to boot ... no loses since JM left and so +1 Zola, onwards and upwards. But it is a conditional optimism from my part ... we are NOT playing any better since JM left as far as I can see.
December 28, 201510 yr Im not taking sides in any argument between members, all i will say is that we all love Chelsea FC, but a large number of us fans feel incredibly let down by the players, the managers and the rest of the club. Which is exactly my point. We are angry because we have been let down by the whole club and some of them continue to do that. I don't really understand why Yorkleyblue is only having a go at us on here, it was only a week ago that Chelsea players were getting booed before, during and after the match at the Bridge against Sunderland. It's not just on the forum that Chelsea players are getting stick, it's at the games too.
December 28, 201510 yr Only been able to just watch the highlights. Was at work so could not see the game live. From the looks of it Tibo made a couple of good stops, though United were either wasteful or unlucky when they hit the woodwork twice. For us we tested De Gea a few times, JT forcing a magnificent, save of of the game from De Gea, then his double save from Pedro and Azpi later on was good as well. Matic though...deary me. Costs us the pen against Watford, equally to blame for our two dropped points in that one along with Oscar. Today... what a wild shot that is. He has a team mate coming on his right but never looks at him. Looks to me a simple ball that gives whoever it is a good amount of De Gae less goal to aim for. Should have won it there. Normal circumstance a draw at OT is a good result. Today though, just like Watford, we blew the chance of all 3 by spurning a late golden chance.
December 28, 201510 yr Im not taking sides in any argument between members, all i will say is that we all love Chelsea FC, but a large number of us fans feel incredibly let down by the players, the managers and the rest of the club. I agree...don't want any finger pointing going on between fans...many times I have been frustrated with negative posters, but find it somewhat bemusing for it to be raised as an issue now while the players let us down week after week...to back chelsea at the moment without making a single critical comment is like coming home to see your wife shagging someone else and carrying on as if nothing happened, just cos you love her
December 28, 201510 yr a few of positives to take from this match.... first clean sheet for Tibo actually moved up the table to 14th position LVG will remain gaffer for manure the only thing I have to question, is how herrera came away from this match w/out receiving a yellow - he was hacking away from his midfield spot & it was almost unchecked Edited December 28, 201510 yr by robdog
