Indeed. Him and Kante would make an insane midfield pairing. Could even pop Matic in there for the toughest away games and go: Kante Matic Nainggolan Thats with Nainggolan being the furthest forward of them. No team would want to face that midfield. February 27, 20179 yr How's his left foot? We have to remember any midfielder we sign needs to have one...

I think they are all great players, every team could use a Nainggolan in good form as well. He is hard working, a great team player, good mentality, never stops running and recovering the ball, last but not least, he scores a lot of goals for a (defensive) midfielder. (sorry I am biased being Belgian hehe)

February 28, 20179 yr Yeah Nainggolan have scored more goals in his last 4 league games then Verratti have scored in his last 160
February 28, 20179 yr Good player, having a very good season with Roma now. But that smoking fact always changes my mind.
February 28, 20179 yr I wouldn't say they are completely different. Completely different would be comparing a left back to a striker. They are both central midfielders, who have both spent time deep, further forward, on their own and paired throughout their careers. Granted Radja is somewhat older. I think Verrati is a class above however.
February 28, 20179 yr Veratti is streets ahead of him IMO. Some long range stunners aside I don't see that much in him.

Not having a go here, but do you watch enough of them both to make that comparison? I know i don't watch much of PSG so can't comment too much on Verratti except for the hype train he has around him, but i do watch quite a lot of Serie(Calcio) A, especially Juve, Inter and Roma, and I can say that there's a lot more to Nainggolan's game than just a few screamers from distance. He's such a well rounded player, his shooting is fantastic, his passing and dribbling are a excellent, and he's so strong and energetic to put his foot in and win the ball back, he always seems to be everywhere on the pitch, a bit like Kante.

I've seen a good bit of PSG over the past few seasons mainly in the CL but because I had BT Sports last year I watched a but of the French league. Veratti I used to hate but the more I watched him I realised he was a class midfielder. I haven't seen as much as Radja as Veratti but from what I have seen with Europa games and Belgium games is that he isn't at the same level as Veratti.

Fair enough, you know more about PSG than me, and I don't disagree that veratti is class, I do think Nainggolan is underrated by a lot of people though. I will say I think Radja would thrive in a better side, he's in a Roma side where the only two players that would get into a real champions league contender side would be himself and Florenzi in my opinion.
March 2, 20179 yr His scoring record is very impressive for a centre midfielder, isn't it? His nine goals are a feat. Nainggolan and Kante in one team does sound very intriguing.
March 3, 20179 yr I do think a scoring central midfielder would be a huge asset. Neither kante nor magic score many goals and it's a weakness in the team.

For me he has been one of the worst players, making some huge mistakes that has led to goals against. Edited March 3, 20179 yr by comtrend
March 21, 20179 yr I've watched Roma several times this season and he's looked good. Makes some mistakes but brings speed, power and shooting to central midfield.

March 22, 20179 yr Via SkySports herehttp://www.skysports.com/football/news/29908/10810179/radja-nainggolan-on-the-premier-league-interest-from-chelsea-and-his-chat-with-antonio-conte Quote When Antonio Conte arrived at Stamford Bridge last summer, Nainggolan's name was near the top of his wish list. How do we know. Radja says so! "Yes. I talked to him," he said. "They were really interested and wanted me over there. That's all I can say." "I watch it a lot", he says of the Premier League. "A lot of my team-mates play there. It's the best league in the world. "We have to make choices in life. I am having a good season. When the window opens we will talk about it again." He's not ruling us out anyway, it would be amazing to have him here
March 22, 20179 yr I really like Radja, but I see some issues to be solved during summer and I don't know if he is the right answer. First of all, Matic is not making the cut this season for me, but he contributes with some things that Nainggolan could'nt bring to the club: 1.94m vs 1.75m. The PL style relies on aerial balls and being as tall as Moses is not enough if your partner is Kanté (1.69m). On the other hand, Radja has scored 9 goals and 3 assists vs none and 6 from matic which is quite impressive, but let's face this: we need to do something with cesc and pedro in that case. I would love to see a Hazard-Kanté-Nainggolan-Fàbregas (1.75 again), but that for me means more ball control which is not the team's style this season. By the way, I think he could get used easily to the system and the "Italian mentality".
