i reckon there's another twist in this story, medical can be done and fee agreed but until contract signed its anyones game... id be interested to see whether us matching the bid has any effect.. Raiola won't like us so that counts against us

There isn't, Everton don't like us enough as is, Raiola has is flogging his players in Utd to further boost his declining profile, he's staying in the same hotel as Pogba and Jose will throw anything he can find to stop such a scenario from happening

Utd are desperate for a high profile player seeing as their transfer window prior to this was going from poor to shambolic. Their only signing thus far is Lindelof and Inter is playing hardball for Perisic.

If any bid would come from us at this point it would be at astronomical fees.

Raiola is a piece of work, I'm glad we don't have to deal with him for now

Wouldn't say desperate but we do need to replace Ibra and Rooney. Just forget about Lukaku right now. There's a consensus around united fans that Perisic is another smokescreen ala Morata. Few have even said we could be going after Sanchez. But only time will tell.

Only Vardy, Hazard, Ali and Sigurdsson scored more goals against PL top 6 last season than Lukaku (4)

Someone always has to bring up the big games BS.

Do you remember even seeing him playing when we played Everton? It's not bullsh*t he disappears, Costa has disappeared and still come up with a goal they are strikers, equating a goal to a top performance for a striker is a bit basic...he is a great goal scorer no argument there but he disappears in big games popping up and taking a chance doesn't take that, tat takes 4 seconds a game is for 90 minutes.

Having had more time to think on this I don't see it as a bad thing anymore.

Either he never had a choice to come to us and United were his only, in which case fair play to him they are a top club, one of the top in the world and if local boy Wayne would leave them for United why would lukaku not?

Or we were interested and he decided not to show patience in us. Second time that. First demanding to leave permanently now would rather go to United and line his agents pockets. In which case I am glad he has gone there as I don't want someone who was a Chelsea fan picking money over us.

Costa disappears a lot against the big teams, actually he disappeared for half a season. I just think think it's an easy way to put a player down.

I can see Lukaku scoring at least 30 goals for a top 4 team and at his age he will only improve.

He won't improve because he is not a good footballer you can't teach a touch more than what he has been taught already, he isn't lazy I suppose he couodninprove that slim down a bit it s not impossible, hisbissue is he has a weak mentality did you see the pen in the only big game he has played? He disappears during big games he doesn't stamp his authority, frog had a sh*t goal scoring record apart from 2 out of his 9 seasons for us, but he brought that big game presence and cane up with important goals, Diego has that presence and can pull a goal out of nowhere he won us a bag of games in his own, this half season is whatbis bollox our whole team disappears for half a season if he has no service he can't play he has a patch of 5 or 6 bad games last season other than that he was brilliant does everything you want a CF to do, if he could dribble and link up better he would be the best in the world, Lukaku doesn't have an all round game, I don't like him, but I can see why people think he has potential to be lethal, it could happen but I think he has peaked early...just my opinion

Football is not a science, DonAntonio.

No doubt, he will score his goals next season. More then one.

Meanwhile. This Chelsea rumour is no longer a Chelsea rumour.

(But still the 126.000 post.)

Lukaku could also fizzle out like Carroll, Benteke, Sheva etc. Nothing is a sure thing in football.

You have the 126.001, Deino!

You see Costa's penalty against Liverpool, that was a stunner lol. Personally I think Costa is not all there mentally, IMO he didn't turn up for the second half the season and don't give me the team didn't create chances because I saw plenty of games where the ball was put across the box plenty of times. Costa has never really been a forward to take a chance. He just went back to the awful season before. That's what Costa does when he sulks.

Within 10mins you know if Costa is up for it. Whether he will get sent off or not, that's not really something I enjoy watching.

Under the right manager Lukaku could easy improve his game.

Personally I'm a fan he won 2 titles with us in 3 years he has shown he can step up under pressure it amazes me even a Chelsea fan that doesn't rate Costa, and not sure why you're anxious watching if he will of won't get sent off never got sent off once in 3 years.  He is proven win 2 titles Lukaku hasn't won a thing when he does I'll change my mind about him, for now would take Costa over him every day of the week on purely football based reasons, but I can see why you rate Lukaku he is a prolific scorer and young just for me a big lazy lump isn't the image I see when I think of our main man up top

I rate Lukaku and I honestly think he will bang in 30 goals for any top team but I would rather have Morata, Auba or Belloti out of the forwards I think are available. I would actually pay the going rate for all those forwards because after taking off the Costa money it won't look to bad.

Getting sent off was the wrong thing to say regarding Costa, what I meant was if he decided he would rather have an argument/fight or play a game of football. To me it seemed to be obvious in the first ten minutes what he preferred to do.

I would agree with that in his first 2 seasons but I think last season he avoided altercations almost altogether which I think cas down to contes coaching.  I also would prefer the 3 you mentioned probably in that order, my only issue is Aubameyang is 28 and for 80 million you would want a few years out of him, Morata I like but i can see him having a dud season,  I suppose Bellotti is the first choice but only over Aubameyang because of his age.

The more you think the more is obvious that Lukaku would never ended at SB. Only maybe if we have thrown away an insane amount of money. Eversh*t got Shrek for 'free' and Manure will finance half of his future wages. That was Moronhos's ultimate plan to f**k us up. He held old the cards - money, that fat f**k agent, Pogdonkey, Shrek. Manure would pay 200M if needed. Eversh*t also hate our guts. They were making insane drama about Stones to Chelsea as he is the future pilar of the team, but next year he goes to City without any fus for the same bid we made. And there's Lukaku, I've seen all of his instagram escapades with Pogdonkey this summer and f**k me, they're ment for each other. Two overpuffed wannabe OG's living in a f**kup world of their own with no touch of reality. If Costa is a troublemaker and a prick at least he's down to earth guy.

Clearly, Mourinho's plan was to bring Rooney to Chelsea in 2013 use him as the focal point of the team for the tail end of his career. Then sell Lukaku to Everton in 2014 so that Lukaku can be bought back to Chelsea with Rooney going to Everton to sweeten the deal. Since Mourinho was unable to get Rooney to Chelsea he decided to go move off to Man Utd to complete his masterplan.

Joking aside, I'm glad Chelsea didn't manage to get Rooney back in 2013. Would have been a disaster considering his wage demands and how quickly he has declined of late. But perhaps we would have managed to bring Lukaku in this season.

Eversh*t, Manure, Pogdonkey...how old are you? Could you stop being so childish, please?
