You've been ignoring all the posts asking you to provide history of your supposed posts mate. Why is that? Could it be because a internet monster ate the posts?

He would suit our system far better than Lukaku would.

Have you see  him play at all? He's a fantastic striker and knows where the goal is. It's not just goals like Lukaku but his technique and  football ability is impressive which you don't get with Lukaku.

We paid a big sum at the time for Drogba who only had the one good season....its the chance you take. Folk said the same with Kante too in regards to one great season.

How many drogba-ish strikers has the world seen? Or even how many drogba-ish stories has the world seen? Don't think even DD was a starter in his first season if I remember correctly. And we expect this 21 year old to come to the English champions and lead the line in addition to the 88mil£ transfer cost. I am actually glad that we are not linked with him. Would be unfair to the kid's talent and would show a real lack of foresight from the board and manager.

I have not seen belotti many times, the times that I did, he seemed good. I won't be making a call on it. I would trust conte, for him lukaku was no.1 target. I am sure it was because lukaku clearly is more suited to the role and has far more than goal scoring.

Outside of goalscoring Lukaku isn't suited to our system at-all.

Morata is 24, Belotti will be 24 in December. Who's this 21 year old you're referring to?

I liked rom. He's a deadly finisher but he's most certainly not the finished article. His first touch, link up play and general tactical awareness is sub par..

I think he will get to those elite levels just below you're messi and Ronaldo's but that will probably take him 2/3 more years.

Whatever the fee we got a good deal and united get a proven goalscorer. Only problem they have is Mourinho and his brand of boring football and strikers working hard both offensively and defensively off the ball will suit rom.

He may have to make changes as a result to play to lukakus strengths.

Giroud will probably be his replacement... Playing him all season will get us the goals we miss from Rom... But more importantly the signing of Sandro and Klassen will add goals from other areas of the field rather than relying on Rom.

Be interesting to see if lukaku scored more than 20 this year... Only happened on 5 occasions in Mourinho's 17 year managerial career.

You can believe what you want. Most Evertonians would take the £90m (I would have settled for £70m) over Lukaku. We won't be happy if we don't have a large portion of that money to invest on new strikers tho. Every time he went away on international duty he mouthed off, it became tiresome. Suarez was the same, but he was a genius and I can understand why the RS wanted to keep him even with his big mouth and his erratic behaviour. Lukaku is a brilliant goal scorer but has flaws to his game,as you'll find out.

I know four season ticket holders at Goodison and only one of them actually liked him (one despised him so much you would have thought he was a Liverpool player) so you probably have a point. Don't think any will be disappointed at the price you got for him, that much is certain.(Huddersfield fan)

Despite us winning the title, so did Costa yesterday and this is the guy you claim is the best striker around, not sure if you say that now. And why you need to put the laughing emoticons is really childish. Point being is all players have bad games and Lukaku is still the top scorer. Would love to see how much sh*t you chat if we end up getting him after claiming Conte will never want him etc. You really will have egg on your face :laugh2:

You are utterly pathetic. Both Everton and us yesterday played yesterday night. Both us and Everton won our games by a goal to nil but for some odd reason, you want to laugh that he had a shocker. So because we had a game same night, I merely made the same point that Costa was poor once again. So, point being is Lukaku has had more good games than bad ones this season. Lukaku was poor yesterday, Costa was poor but your weird obsession with Lukaku made you burst out some ridiculous post. Still top scorer anyway and you might just have to get over your wishes than reality because big chance Lukaku will be leading line here next season.

Oh really? L

Hope we get Lukaku, Tolisso, Bakayoko, Conti soon. Finish our business early so that these players can get a whole pre-season and the understanding of the formation/Conte-methods.

I somehow feel one of Pedro/willian is out and we are moving to a 3-5-2.

Also, cant wait for us to get Lukaku. Will be a fun day. Also, would permanently end the horror reign of that troll..

It's all going pear-shaped for you isn't it. After all these months deluding yourself that Conte would not want Lukaku as first choice and how we he would want Morata out the two, seems Conte's first choice is Lukaku and Morata is going United. And Costa, another of your idol seems not wanted by Conte for whatever reasons. Maybe you jinxed yourself. Someone is going to be forced to eat humble pie I suspect if/when Lukaku arrives. But you prob will claim it was the board who forced the move and not Conte right?

What you want a medal, knighthood, or how about we dunk you in the pond and see if you're a witch.  WITCH WITCH !!!

What the hell did I just read above.

So we are heavily linked with lukaku with him being out no.1 target despite the mentally unstable person saying conte will never accept him as no.1.

we get gazumped and he comes out of hiding. What a troll!!!!

You complete fool, my argument with you was that you kept sending me 'love letters' and then GRASSED me up to the mods because I highlighted your instability. I said previously that I was NOT a fan of Lukaku. Get a grip son.

BTW, you harboring that grudge and then like a child basically saying "look I'm right" only further demonstrates your mental instability. Pacquiao, f**k off son, and grass me up to the mods again, I don't give a sh1t. I gave up playing your childish games when I was in Infant school, it is evident you didn't progress further than that level of education.

What the f**k has happened to this thread since this morning?

Full of arguments and bloody fantasists!

Has anyone just told the football agent to bugger off back to the Arsenal boards where he belongs?

Yeah we have tried that.

He's not an Arsenal fan though, he's a football agent for the top players in the world currently. Just has a ton of time on his hands so he likes to swing his dick in football forums.

My take on things.

Firstly, criminal negligence that we didn't insert a buy-back clause when we sold Lukaku, especially after the seasons he'd had at West Brom and Everton. This isn't me being wise after the event. I've never understood the criticism he gets. He's not perfect but he's a damn sight better than most and it's patently obvious he was Conte's first choice so that should tell us all we need to know. People question his attitude. Really? He could have sat on the bench at Chelsea and bided his time and picked up a fat pay cheque, instead he chose to back himself and go and get games at a smaller club. I admire that attitude, personally. It shows ambition. It shows a desire to fulfill his potential. It shows a desire to graft.

What now? Morata? Overrated from what I have seen. I've only seen this Belotti fella on youtube videos but they are mightily impressive. He looks more likely than Morata to become a truly elite striker, in my opinion. Sure, people can say it's only youtube and you're only watching his best bits, rather than the times he fell over the ball or missed an open goal, but there are quite a lot of best bits considering he's only 23 and he plays for a smaller team. Those saying he's only had 1 good season need to consider he's played over 70 games for Torino and his ratio is better than 1 in 2. He played 36 games the season before last and scored 12. If he hadn't performed well he wouldn't have been their front-line striker the following season but he was and he scored 28 in 38 games, which is pretty phenomenal. He's had 3 seasons in Serie A, scoring 6, 12 and 28 respectively. He's got better every season, which is what you want from a young striker, it shows he's developing. Rather than say he's had one good season it would be more accurate to say last season was his breakthrough season, and that's something most good players have, a steady progression and then bang, they break through. Sure, we may not be able to afford him but given the choice I'd take him above everybody from what I've seen. He's just got something. It's evident from the videos. He plays with a lot of heart. I think he'd fit Chelsea quite nicely.

Lukaku? I rate him but I'm not too bothered, so long as we bring in a top-drawer striker. The world doesn't begin and end with Romelu Lukaku. I rate him but there are obvious flaws which have always left me slightly unconvinced, namely his lack of vision. People talk about his first touch but his biggest weakness is his vision in my opinion. His football brain, it's not the best, but obviously he'll compensate for that with goals, pace and brute strength. There was just something about his move to Chelsea, it just felt wrong, whether that was because he was trying to recreate something or because we were trying to reincarnate Drogba, it just felt to me like it was ill-fated and I can easily come to terms with the fact it hasn't happened. Utd will be strong next season, they'll be our main challengers next season, they've bought well and Jose always does well in his second season but we've got a pretty good manager and I'm confident the board will want to redeem themselves to everyone by buying a stellar name.

Lukaku will thrill and frustrate in equal measure I think. Suarez nearly won the league single-handedly for the dippers. Romelu Lukaku isn't on that level. He'll never play for Barca or Real. He has now reached his ceiling and we'll see if he's able to stay there. What's not in doubt is with him in your team, you're not going to be playing the most technical football, or the most precise, not that that's necessarily a bad thing, it's just the way it is. That's partly why I had my doubts about buying him.

If we don't get a striker then undoubtedly we have problems but I can't really believe the board will allow that, but perhaps I'm naive. Arsenal have upgraded up front to the tune of £50m. Liverpool have Firmino who's already a top player and will only get better. Spurs have Kane, City have Jesus and Aguero and Utd have Lukaku, Rashford and Martial. The board will know they have to act and I'm sure they will, or perhaps a truce will be called between Conte and Costa for one more season, although I doubt that particular scenario has any legs. Personally I'll be glad to see Costa leave. Just had enough of the guy.

If we get Belotti and Llorente as back-up we'll be in very good shape.

I've scouted him on the youtube vids and I say make that bid.
