No matter how you look at it, it's a mess and a failure on our part. I'm no fan of Lukaku but he was clearly our key target to replace Costa and we managed to f**k it up royally. Conte will be irate and he has every reason to be.

 

Too little too late from Chelsea. 

If we had identified Lukaku as a primary target up front you've got to say we really dropped a bollock over this one.

Conte wants Belotti, but Chelsea are not prepared to pay the buy out clause, Costa negotiations are holding any transaction for Llorente up, there is another forward in the conundrum however Chelsea are 8m apart. I am involved in those discussions.

It will be a long summer for all us Chelsea fans, Bakayoko and Rudiger are likely but Chelsea's 3 tier approach could let Man Utd in the back door, particularly in Bakayoko's case, as Chelsea are dithering over money and the medical.

i repeat, Chelsea will not exceed the 50m spent on Torres in this transfer window, do not waste your time on press releases concerning players like Morata. 

 

 

FINALLY.. Some sense in these forums. I conquer with everything you said. I even said there was now we wouldud pay 63million for sandro at lwb, and the lukaku price was just not what Conte is about. We won the league buy buying quality players for quality prices. I definitely dont see us throwing money away for the sake of it, Conte doesnt strike me as that kind of coach

I think if we weren't going to win anyway we should have let him go, the mistake was going public with saying that we match the bid. I mean Utd came out of nowhere with the bid and they could do it secretly but we can't?

Pre-season starts on monday and we fly out to Asia until august in a week. Season starts 5 days after we are home against Arsenal at Wembley and right now we are completely fecked in our striker departement. We risk having to start the season with Michy as our only striker or him and Llorente and Hazard are on the sidelines until september/october with his injury.

This is starting to look like a crisis ladies and gentlemen.

But apparently, according to certain folks on here, fans who are worried are spoilt. Amazing, isn't it?

If we can get a top striker for £40m then fine.

Otherwise if things are repairable with costa I say we stick with him. Though His attitude can be questionable at times.

A new stadium to pay for and if Tammy has a great year at Swansea meeting his potential. Then we have a top striker for nothing and no need to splash 100 million on 1 man.

Clearly Conte doesn't care about the prices. From this farcical "Football Agent" guy and going over reports and previous transfers, it is the board that has issues with prices and fees. 

This notion that Conte cares about prices are delusional, he is the Head Coach, he doesn't control the money.

He did say last season that he doesnt like it when cubs pay over the odds. He said he likes to pay the real value or we wud have paid the 60million Napoli were asking for kouillabily. We bought Luiz and the rest is history..
