Jose Mourinho thread

Featured Replies

Just want to apologise for my language over the weekend. It was regarding to what I saw written in the match day thread really. Opinions are great and people will still respect Mourinho and others don't. I just don't enjoy reading particular swear words after each sentence regarding Mourinho plus it seems like some people are seething at the mouth when they write it. This thread has hit the common theme of Mourinho is a c***, someone ask for abit more respect and then your an arse licker.

On my grammar I admit it's terrible but that's life.

Like I said I apologise to others who had to read it but enough was enough for me.

Why give respect to someone who doesn't respect you anymore?

Who? Mourinho respecting me. He never has done because he don't know me and my life. People can respect what Mourinho has done for the club, he took them into the next level which was one of the best clubs in European football.

You got to realise the minority of you who decide to over react to every comment he comes out with is not always directed at Chelsea and 99% of the time is never as bad as you make it.

Headline is Mourinho travelled to Norwich to watch a game. This thread erupts with his disrescpting the fans, how dare him the c***. His slagging off chelsea etc. That's no over exggaeration but really how bad some of you are in this thread.

I'm sure if any of us sat down with Jose and shared a glass of plonk and had an 'off the record' chat, we would all see a different person to the facade he acts out on camera. Respect will always be guaranteed from me Mr Mourinho, but not until you leave man utd, Portugese **** !

I don't really hate United anymore, it's more Arsenal now for me.

I really hated United through the 90s and living in Kent when every kid supported Utd or Liverpool.

There's me being a season ticket holder and dreaming of a trip to Wembley and no one I knew had even been to a game. 1997, 98, 2010 was massive and then being in the big time when Mourinho joined till now and loving it. You do appreciate it more when you think back to the 90s for me personally.

I just said man utd because thats where he went, i would of said the same if Lincoln city were in the prem and Jose went there, it's nothing personal, it's always Chelsea first for me, but it's always Jose first for him.

Why do people have to use foul language when talking about Mourinho?

Because that's what describes his personality these days. You want to throw personal insults or agree with them towards me because I don't respect his past achievements (I actually do but my problem  is with the Utd Jose). On the flip side 3 months into his job Jose labels the Utd fans as the most passionate under his management  (they really are nothing special) which is a kick in the teeth to the fans at chelse who always stood by him.

I get it, you're still in love with Jose and believe that he doesn't love Utd and still loves Chelsea. However from his actions I see the opposite. He's a major rival doing his best to burn bridges with us. He will be called names that every other major rival on this forum is called.

You just exaggerated there though.

Did Mourinho actually say that?

Well what he actually said was "never before have I seen such wonderful fans with such unconditional love for their club".

Now you can defend him and say he's sucking up to Utd fans (which he is). But he's smart enough to know that such comments will be picked up on and compared to the club he was last managing just over a year ago. Yes he can credit his new club but his choice of words can easily be interpreted as a sly dig.

Have you got the article?

If that's what he said I don't think it's worth calling someone a c***. Of course he has said it on the spur of the moment and was it after the Chelsea defeat? His also smart enough to try and keep the Utd fans onside. Maybe abit insensitive if its true what he said but I really can't see the big deal about it. Would be interesting what Real, Inter and Porto fans think about those comments.

I don't but those were his exact words and a quick search of google will bring up loads of outlets running that story. He can be smart enough to keep Utd fans on side as well as Chelsea fans. Furthermore, I just don't like his general attitude so it isn't down to that one comment. I know I said it's the Utd Jose I have a problem with but I will admit that I still resent him for the most unnecessary drama he caused with the doctor last season. It was so random that part of me feels he somewhat engineered his own broken relationship with the players who obviously liked Eva.

With regards to the other clubs you mentioned, he hasn't managed them for years and didn't have that close bond with them (aside from Inter I guess) that he had with Chelsea. Furthermore, he joined a direct rival in the same league after being sacked by us, which kind of turns what we thought was a myth into fact that United has always been his dream job. So I wouldn't use those foreign fans views as a comparison.

What you personally know him do you ? The personality you see is an act, do you think panto characters walk round dressed like that all the time ?

I don't need to know him personally to form an opinion of his personality do I? Just like you don't need to know him personally to work out that everything he says is an act.

And when I say that, I speak of Jose in the football world, which is what's relevant. What he does outside of football is entirely different and irrelevant to me.

I think you want to believe it's all an act  so prevent your heart being broken, but in my opinion I think that's his character. Over the years various actions of his prove that he can be a right C~@T.  I always stood by him as in my opinion no matter what, Jose could do wrong (This still applies to certain fans today), but after he created a civil war, that was enough for me.

I believe it's an act because it is an act. Everyone acts in front of the cameras. You need to go and read up on psychological manipulation.

I understand that to a certain degree he acts a certain way in front of the cameras. We all know about his so called 'protecting his players' front. However, as stated, it's not his mind games that necessarily wind me up. They are just the cherry on the top of some of the other rubbish and sly digs he likes to throw, which quite frankly does not benefit himself or his team in anyway shape or form.

I bet you would be like putty in his hands if you ever met him, he would have you eating Manyoo candy rock on your way home.
