Cheers, Coco.  I usually try get to one of the matches when they come stateside.  Just so happens I've never been to Minneapolis, and I was able to work in a work-trip at the same time, so it's all panned out ok.

 

Also checked and the new stadium is near a couple of breweries, and a bar that has 100 taps!!!  That 7am flight may come a bit early the day after.

I'm no fan of Oscar but I don't have faith in anyone else scoring 10+ goals per season from centre mid... I'd like to see him making Lampard-esque runs into the box, drifting into the #10 position, and providing an extra man in midfield.

No qualms with Aina but I'm yet to be convinced he's a FB who will chip in with a few assists/goals. Kenedy has the ability to assist/score but defensively I still think he's naive at LB. Like Oscar I'm no fan of Cuadrado either, but without someone like Ricardo Rodriguez at LB I'd like to see what he can do in an attacking sense (overlapping with Willian etc).

 

No issues with 4-4-2... would just like to see some evidence from Conte that he's at least tried something to help us maintain possession.

I think that's how we start the season (unless we get a new CB quickly) so I'd like to see us run out this lot before preseason is up.  

I don't think van Ginkel would work very well as a midfielder with attacking/goalscoring responsibility.

 

I'm more annoyed that this game is on at stupid o'clock on a work night!

Chelsea are taking on AC Milan at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, home of the NFL side Minnesota Vikings.

If we are playing 4-2-4 changed to a 4-5-1. I would play hazard as a second striker. 

If we are desperate to play a midfielder like oscar as a 2nd striker so that he can cover defensively a bit, I would put in cesc there. I know Cesc sucks as a no.10 BIG time. But even then he is 10 times the player oscar can dream to be.
