It was tense. He constantly slagged off our players throughout and said our whole team was dirty. But when I mentioned Delle, Vertonghen and Rose as dirty scum he flipped. Told me to f**k off a fair few times (we had had a lot of beer to drink).

And when that Hazard goal went in he visibly wilted. I went berserk when Matic scored and he looked close to tears. "This was our one chance to win something" etc etc.

Haha, I do that with Spurs fans all the time. They mention Terry being a prick and I bring up the rap sheet of Ledley King and Danny Rose's assault on Hiddink. They bring up the Paris metro I tell them about the racist and homophobic abuse they gave Sol. They claim we have mercenary players and I mention that Assou Ekotto admitted to playing solely for money and how the same man was snapped with Adebayor laughing at a 5-0 loss while the were both still Spurs players.

Someone needs to teach them the rule of glass houses.

Loris handball outside the area, Alli stamp in luiz.

Im not 100% certain but I think even if Ref blows for Lloris handball, its not a red card.

Alli stamp? Seriously dibble come on. His leg/foot didnt waiver off a natural line and he wasnt even looking. Even with your giant chelsea glasses on, you  could see it wasnt a stamp.

It's a red card if it's involved in stopping an attack. Alli knew exactly what he was doing.

Another emphasis on how good Luiz has been this season. When he was staying down I was sh*tting myself, even with Terry warming up. Really proved a lot of people wrong this season.

Another choice post from FightingCocks....................

No they can't

They've been unbearable since 1970 when they kicked their way to win it against Leeds
Not that Leeds were angels but I remember 'Choppers ' tackle on Eddie Gray for which he shd have got 5 years!

f**king hated that sh*tstain of a club since

Much more than the Scum or Dippers

Still holding a resentment since 1970. LOL.

You have called out someone on here for being deluded and then you come out with this

Yes spurs may have played a more attractive brand of football on the day and potentially all season depending on your preferences but do you really think they were better man for man.

Can you really say Son was better than Moses, Dier was better than Ake, Alderwiereld was better than Luiz, Vertongen was better than Azpi, either of Erikson and Ali were better than Willian/Hazard and Pedro, that Lloris was better than Courois. Simply put i don't think you can.

You could easily make a point that Kante and Matic were outplayed by Demebele and Wanyama and that Tripier/Walker had a better game than Alonso, you could also claim that potentially Kane was better than Bats/Costa although I thought Kane was pretty anonymous apart from his goal.

But naive and stupid mistakes are also part of the game and you can't give away 4 extremely stupid defensive lapses and expect to win let alone expect to be seen as the better side man for man. You can't just ignore this side of the game because its unattractive, there are more things to consider when looking at a performance or a teams overall quality than just how they press or how many passes they make sideways. Do Liverpool play better football than Tottenham or us as they express this form of the football better than any team in the league in my opinion, surely there league position and results suggest something doesn't add up.

Also when you consider that despite all their "dominance" and hugely superior football they only managed to make 3 proper chances and actually took their chances clinically can you really say they were superior or unlucky to lose. They shouldn't have scored and didn't deserve to score any more goals against us than they did and they could manage to put us in a position were we needed to chase the game.

Man for man they are better in general not just yesterday. Certainly closer than in previous years. Yes they were superior and unlucky not to lose.

Tibo/Lloris - Nothing in it

Walker better than Moses

Rose better than alonso

Vertongen, Alderwiereld, Dier is as good if not better than Luiz, Azpi, Ake.

Wanyama and Demeble battered Kante and Matic (although I love Kante and felt sorry for him)

Eriksen and Willian very similar level.

Alli and Pedo, youd take Alli.

Kane over Costa.

My man of the match yesterday, he was outstanding, especially as he was also basically tutoring Ake through the game too, he was constantly organising with him and Dave.

Think we can all accept they have a good team these days, but the same players you mention failed abysmally in the champions league and Europa league...as well as they've done in recent weeks, they have struggled against the top six away from home for years and there is a huge question mark over their ability to win the biggest games...talent can only get you so far, you need mental strength too, something we have shown in abundance (as well as quality football) and it's a pity that you seem to ignore the qualities in the team you support

Really? Chelsea 2 Spurs 1................Spurs 2 Chelsea 0...............Chelsea 4 Spurs 2. How are they better than us when we've beaten them two out of three times?

This is not a Spurs Loving from me. I hate seeing them do well. This is my point it pains me to a Chelsea team have to play like an inferior side to grind a win against them. This year, down to Conte mainly, we have shown very good mental strength. Dont forget last year though and the lack of it there.

As a CFC fan I would prefer my teams best qualities to be technical rather mental.

You should go and support Spurs then.

We have played 2, Lost 1 drawn 1 v Liverpool. Does that make them better?

Why because they have better players?

You dont choose who you support.

Oh so your logic only works for certain teams haha?!

83:32 into watching the game on iPlayer, the commentator just said "nearly FIVE" when Hazard got behind Lloris.

How can you even think you were the 'better' team when you almost let in five goals ?

f**k off

That bent c**t allowed them to disrupt the games flow by a stream of niggling fouls which suited them by allowing them to get 10 behind the ball!

As I said yesterday Atkinson was the main reason we lost

Clear pen on Dele waved away

c**t!

Deluded tw*t.

Palace could of had 4 against us. We were still by far the better team and didnt deserve to lose.

Jamie i will agree we were the worse team, their you go, now you won the argument, start enjoying the victory.
