Must confess, I do not know how good or bad Cancelo is. What is your assessment of him ?

I havn't watched him that much but what I've seen he is quick, can go past players, has a decent height for a fullback, I think he is better going forward than defending but his balls in don't seem very accomplished, so basically same problems as VM, however he isn't a "bad" defender, he is quite tenacious, wont stand off players will try and get the ball, and make blocks, that has it's pros and cons, but he is far more of a defender than VM, I think positionally will need work, he is an upgrade but not a massive one, will deffo benefit from his pace on the break.    

Other than Tottenham backing away even at a low price he wasn't good enough to put out cedric from the Euros last year, but he was only 22 make of that what you will.

Hard to say Danilo was phenomenal at Porto he dropped albums level at real, I think Danilo has it in him to be very good, also cancelo you have to remember is 23 so he has plenty of room to grow 

There's a lot of players who bottle coming to the premiership because of the physical test...he strikes me as being one of them...happy to pick up a good wage in an average league...
