I see a lot of people throwing recently retired players into the equation but will be be able to do the job? Are they qualified? 

 

I genuinely don't have a clue what a technical director needs to do. 

I thought the recent rumours are encouraging. Luis Campos sounds like a good appointment.

Check Emenalo's interview and you might get an idea. I think he is the boss if scouts and managers and is responisble of the squad.

And we are still waiting, why haven't we replaced Emenalo?.

Maybe they think we don’t really need one? 

Still managing to get business done without one, I think maybe they’re restructuring things instead of heaping too much responsibility on one person.

Correct me if im wrong, but it seemed we had more purpose when we had one......better acquisitions etc.

Emenalo’s last window was maybe the worst of the Roman era.

Morata, Drinkwater, Bakayoko for a combined £135m.

Since he left we’ve signed Barkley, Emerson, Kepa, Giroud, Jorginho and Kovacic on loan. All of which I feel can be considered successful transfers.

The loan players, being overseen by Eddie Newton, are doing as well as they ever have.

 I think maybe we’re scaling back what that position does with Eddie and Marina taking on a lot more with regards to transfers and loans.

Yeah those transfers were utter pointless.....such large sums for so little on the field abilities. Im looking forward what we do in the summer.......cuz we need a few players. The likes of Zappa and Drinky were never Chels quality players.
