FA Cup Semi Final

Southampton havent sold out either

I take zero comfort with that. They have train fares and petrol money to take into consideration we should be able to sell 33.000 tickets comfortably.

Wembley is a ball ache to get out of. I would have expected the tourist fans and those not able to attend SB regularly to snap the tickets up, but as with other regulars, I had no desire to go and wait 2 hours to get a tube or train out of the place, not for a semi final anyway.

For the charity shield I trialled driving to near the ground....that was also a huge mistake.

I am strongly against using Wembley for semis...and dread it if we relocated there for the stadium rebuild.

I still find it strange how little effort the club are making to sell the remaining tickets to be honest.

They haven't even bothered to update the specific selling page to show that members and ST holders can buy an extra 2 tickets as of Monday; the only way you would know that, is if you clicked on the general news article titled "Tickets Together" which is a general update on ticket info for 3 games. The article is now buried by various other more recent articles.

You would think they would be going all out advertising it, perhaps even sending emails to members & ST holders to make them aware.

You’d have thought with all the time and money spent they would have improved the local infrastructure to deal with the vast crowds leaving at the end of the match. But what do they care? By that point you e had your day out so f**k off home as the song goes!

I hate Wembley for the semis but to be honest we’d probably be playing in the emirates or even worse be sent to the bloody midlands for the match otherwise. They aren’t too any stadiums in the south east outside of London I can think of that could host a semi final.

Convinced my neighbour and his three lads to go next Sunday for a day out, 6996 to shift now, putting an advert in local corner shop later! don't want to see empty seats in our end.

Good work!

I am trying to convince as many to go as possible too...

Would be intrigued to know how many tickets we got left.

On the Southampton website you can get an idea as it shows you what sections have sold out, obviously ours gives no information at all...

United have now sold out after opening it up to members.

The club still haven't thought it a good idea to update the selling page to reflect the fact ST holders & members can buy an extra 2 tickets from Monday.

Meanwhile Twitter is still a wash with people hunting for spares as they aren't aware they can get them via the club.

We really don't help ourselves....

lol genuinely can't believe people can't be arsed for a semi-final. What pub is it these days? Last time I was there a few years ago now it was the Globe I think?

The Globe is always Chelsea when we are at Wembley.

Around Wembley we will get allocated pubs by the police, dependent on the side of Wembley we are allocated. We are on the side that has the Torch- decent and very close to the stadium.

Yes torch this year, as green man is saints pub, should be up at the torch by 11:30, knocking on my local spoons door at 7am for breakfast, then 2 hour train journey

Shame we haven’t got the green man. Great time at the semi and final last year, must get a good couple of thousand inside and out.

Went on their forum saints web, and they're moaning like f**k about it, obviously Pompey are loving it

Haha, it's nice to sit back and relax knowing we have sold out now (by the skin of our teeth!).

Well spuds are betting Manchester, god if they win and we do I would hate the thought of losing the final to them.

If we win tomorrow then I make it Arsenal and us have made 10 finals each since they last made one.
