Yes. Lets hope so. Certainly the league would probably want to avoid a situation where other owners try to hide findings in similar circumstances, So it would make sense if this is considered when handing out any punishment

What's annoying is that the EPL were clueless until we told them.

City only got charged after a hacker sent stuff to a German newspaper ( Der Speigal).

What I didn't know is that the poor f**ker ( Rui Pinto) got 4 years in  prison but is now in witness protection and is threatening to expose more stuff about Citeh !

f**k knows how all that works or whether it's even true !

Perhaps they’re working on a deal with some Brazilian school kids that have an idea for a startup that might come to something in ten years…

As long as they release the third kit before they get a sponsor I'm happy.

 

I think they should always offer the shirts with or without sponsors option in the club shop. I guess most sponsors won't like that though.

Perhaps they're waiting for City to fight off the sponsership charges, and lets face facts with their wealth and power they will, then Clearlake or another one of their entities, can sponser us at some ludicrous figure a year. Hey presto PSR negated.

The new owners felt our previous deal was undervalued in the market, they are apparently looking at a short term deal for this season(s) so they can get a better deal if/when we get in the CL .

That was the thinking last season too if I recall?

Makes sense on paper but surely seeking the security of a long-term deal with some growth baked into it if/when we get CL football would be wiser?

Thats what i thought they would do, get a deal now that boosts when in europe. I expect the thing stopping them is maybe the blue chip companies arent interested until we are in the CL.

Don’t know if you spotted but IA are still being shown on the advertising behind the manager at the pre match press conference as a major sponsor.

May mean thing in that they are now as expected just sleeve sponsors but watch this space

I imagine they will think about one of their companies sponsoring us so they can move more money around!

Step forward Johnnie's Fish and Kebab Shop, King's Road, Chelsea.  They'd probably get their name on the shirt for a few thousand and we get to support a local business.  Everyone's a winner. Team could have a free fish and chip supper delivered after every game as part of the deal. 

We could have done literally nothing since the summer of 2022 and we would be in a better position than we are now.

Yes. Here's from a programme from 1986. Looking at it I was reminded that some players didn't have their kits sponsored.
