Annoying Tuchel is showing this much effort in forcing Bayern to sign a DM yet not for us.

Would rather cripple Kante permanently than sign a DM. 

Tuchel signing Dier from Spurs is proof he is clueless in the market.

In quite funny news, Bayern appear to be signing Eric Dier to play him in midfield:

Some breaking news for you, Eric Dier’s move to Bayern Munich is almost done, according to manager Thomas Tuchel.

“From experience, we know things can go wrong in the final seconds,” he said. “He is Munich and we try to finalise the deal and find another alternative in the defensive position in our squad. But I’d like to wait before the ink has dried. You’re right he is in the city.

“I think that he is more or less a specialsit in the central defensive role. He’s played as a holding midfielder in the past. He can play as part of a back four and three at the back so we can fre up Goretzka in midfield so he doesn’t have to switch between playing as a No 8 and being deeper.

“We’re still focusing on other positions and we’ll see if anything else happens.”

Tuchel is a good coach, but even I will admit now that he is god awful at signing players. Eric f**king Dier 😆

Saying that we do have a fecund recent history of hiring lunatics. The nice managers don't tend to do very well at Chelsea (with the exception of Ancelotti and maybe Robbie D of course). 

I don't know how well they'd cope with the current ownership though. We should get Conte back for the drama, he'd probably end up setting fire to his office.

I don't know if I would put Ancelotti in the nice guy category. He's like a mafia boss. All smiles in front of us normies, but one raised eyebrow and you know somebody is getting killed

Reminds me of when Liverpool signed Xabi Alonso's best mate Juan Ugarte and loaned him out to Crewe. (He got my FM 06 Crewe team promoted). 

Was not sure where to put this, an interesting look at TT's first season and the goals.

Sad to see Mount and James play so well and Havertz was very good too.
