Hired and fired/leaves within 18 months. A manager who notoriously challenges and falls out with the board at every club he goes to being in charge of a team run by Daniel Levy isn't going to end well.

Agreed.

Let's hope the shytezens can help him get the job tonight 😁

Call me crazy but I hope he is appointed. There is a section of the fan base that would let go of their affection for him until he gets another job, & they can examine his work from afar. Just like with Jose, & Conte before him, Spurs is the perfect role. Like you said though, he will be a car crash.

Yes, it's funny how Spurs too our ex-managers and gave them a huge hammering. Tuchel could do better than Spurs, rather than risk his reputation by going down the rabbit hole.

Possibly the pick of West Ham or Everton after this weekend :laugh2:

But Conte is still there at  the moment though, right

Tuchel could get any job in the world if he waits, I hope he knows what going to Tottenham would do for his Chelsea legacy

He won’t though, the same was said about Conte and look how that turned out. The 2 Spanish giants won’t touch him, and I am not sure the Bayern board would go near a manager with a history of burning through player relationships (same reason Jose never got the Bayern job). Think his style of football would be appreciated by one of the Italian giants though.

Anyone else read the bit of the Enzo story in the Times that we kept him on for two weeks after we decided to sack him?

Clubs prerogative of course, but didn't we sign Aubameyang, apparently for Tuchel, in that period where we had already decided to sack him?

Would have loved for him to have a go at this years Champions League with our current squad. We'd definitly be among the favorites to win it all with Tuchel.
We'd also fight for the Premier League title next season no doubt but he'll never be back here so lets hope Potter can deliver as well.

The way things were going at the training ground it wasn't that assured we'd be in the knock outs!

Genuinely as bad as the Ancelotti sacking to be honest, arguably even worse considering Tuchel's squad wasn't anywhere near as strong. Time is only proving this even more.

Ancelotti deserved to go for asking for Torres. A genuinely baffling decision that set us back years.

Thought it was Abramovich who wanted Torres? We already had Drogba up front.

Though I don't think many people could've predicted Torres' massive decline after his knee injury. His game relied on his acceleration, without it he was useless. Before that, he was a world class striker to be fair.

Wilkins (who had less than no reason to lie on Roman's behalf given how he was let go) confirmed it was Ancelotti who requested him.

I could, and above all else he was already performing like sh*t at Liverpool.

Made even worse by the fact Aguero was practically giving us free only fans performances.
