January 9, 20224 yr Quote The draw for the FA Cup fourth round takes place on Sunday following the third-round tie between West Ham and Leeds, which kicks-off at 14:00 GMT. I would dearly love 11 v 5, it would be the first time ever Chelsea have played in my home county. The draw numbers 1 Boreham Wood 2 AFC Bournemouth 3 Stoke City/Leyton Orient 4 Southampton 5 Chelsea 6 Liverpool/Shrewsbury Town 7 Cardiff City/Preston North End 8 Coventry City 9 Huddersfield Town 10 Brighton & Hove Albion 11 Kidderminster Harriers 12 Leicester City 13 Middlesbrough 14 Hartlepool United 15 Everton 16 Fulham 17 Tottenham Hotspur/Morecambe 18 Crystal Palace 19 Brentford 20 Manchester City 21 Wigan Athletic 22 Luton Town/Harrogate Town 23 Plymouth Argyle 24 Manchester United/Aston Villa 25 Wolverhampton Wanderers/Sheffield United 26 Cambridge United 27 Barnsley 28 Peterborough United 29 West Ham United/Leeds United 30 Queens Park Rangers 31 Charlton Athletic/Norwich City 32 Nottingham Forest/Arsenal
January 9, 20224 yr As it happens I've watched Plymouth a few times a season and they are a very good team at League One level, they also play with wingbacks and have a very modern approach so it won't be an attack vs defense game. Their young keeper Michael Cooper i personally believe will be playing for England eventually and he most certainly will be the prem sooner rather than later. Very good shot stopping and excellent distribution under pressure.

Plymouth is about as close to home as it can get for me, so it would have been a great chance to watch the team.

January 9, 20224 yr Sometime in the 70s we played Plymouth in a league cup game at the Bridge. I think Malcolm Allison had something to do with them ,and they played football that was astonishingly good, almost like total football. Think they beat us , so I started looking at their results afterwards, not surprisingly, they were rubbish ! but that night they were superb, rang rings around us really. typical !

They play some excellent stuff (for league one standard) presently. Watching them the last time midway through the second half it randomly hit me that if I was watching it during the Lampard, Conte or Jose meltdown periods I'd have been genuinely jealous of what I was watching 😂

Good info to know, sounds like could have the makings of an entertaining match for us in the 4th round then, hopefully a good one to watch, as long as our team don't underestimate them, should be a good game as long as we get the right result!
January 9, 20224 yr All the big boys drawn at home, probably lining them up to be separate till the quarters.
