Apparently Aubas deal is a permanent one not a loan and he has a agreed a huge wage cut to make it happen.

So one player taking huge wage cut to play again at a big club, another wanting a wage increase to trade one treatment room for another lol.

Auba was on about 350k/week at Arsenal supposedly. So even with a significant decrease he is probably going to add a hefty amount to Barca's wage bill.

Presumably Dembele has to choose between whatever offer we have on the table for him (assuming an offer has indeed been made), or staying put and being frozen out of Barca for the rest of the season, hoping to name his wage as a free transfer in the summer.

Of course he isn't at the moment. The guy is playing for Barcelona and was injured for months. That doesn't mean he suddenly forgot how to play football. He is a world cup winner who was, under our current manager, considered as one of the most promising young talents. The only mistake he's made is he joined the club that is declining, although he did put in some good performances during his first two seasons.

Can't we just play our wingers on a more constant basis? 

WAGNH confidently reporting people close to the player are saying he is for sure staying at Barca.

His agents are sure he can make more money as a fre transfer in the summer, probably from PSG apparently.

Always so many great rumours on deadline day. i preferred the Kounde one and would have loved to to get Tchoumanei for next season as well. If Dembele is the answer its the wrong questions, would prefer to get Hazard back.
