January 22, 20224 yr We badly need someone who can go past a player so many tiles on the break it comes apart because our players can’t go past the last defender and it gives the others time to reset, beating a man in this team with this ice means far more goal opportunities

They all want the ball to feet which wouldn’t work against defences sat deep, they need to be ghosting into space. Personally not even sure peak Dembele/Hazard are the solution since they both want the ball to feet.
January 25, 20224 yr Cos we need obviously more injury-prone wingers. Guy has played 87 games in 4 years. That's barely more than 20 a season. Quote Dembélé is a supporter of Premier League club Leeds United.[59] In July 2021, Dembélé was embroiled in a racism controversy, when video footage of Dembélé along with fellow teammate Antoine Griezmann circulated online, whereby he was seen making derogatory racial comments against the Asian technicians in their hotel room.[60] As the technicians appeared to be troubleshooting the room's television, Dembélé made comments towards Griezmann in French, stating "All these ugly faces, just so you can play PES, aren't you ashamed?", continuing with "What the f**kin language?" before zooming in while laughing on one of the technicians faces, mentioning "Are you technologically advanced in your country or not?".[ Just keeps getting better and better. Other sources agree with what I have said previously. No budget for new signings and the only thing we are trying to do is get back Emerson. Though I would rather we just use Sarr as our Alonso replacement.

January 25, 20224 yr I’m actually surprised there’s so much negativity around possibly signing him, as I’ve mentioned before I can’t imagine Tuchel wanting to re-sign a player he has already managed if he wasn’t professional. I think for the rumoured £15m it’s absolutely worth the risk
January 25, 20224 yr The Dortmund Dembele stood out like a torch in a cave however he has dodgy hamstrings just like half the Chelsea team. He has had two spells out with hammy of over 100 days each. The likelihood of a bad hammy injury recurring is very high.

January 25, 20224 yr Barcelona has become a club where players go to kill their careers. Dembele, Umtiti, Griezmann, Coutinho, Pjanic all in recent years. I’m sure there’s more that I’m missing.
January 25, 20224 yr I'm actually all for this. Dembele is a beast, it is just that Barcelona brings the worst out of literally anyone. Would be a fantastic signing.
January 26, 20224 yr His contract expires in 5 months. Theres no way we should be throwing £10m to £15m down the drain for 4 months and maybe 15 games worth of playing time. That to me seems insane.

January 26, 20224 yr A lot of good points made in here about his injury record and what seems to be a concerning overall attitude, which started when he made his push to leave Dortmund. For me those are huge red flags for the wages he'd be asking, but no doubt he is still young and has all the tricks. You could compare it a little to the situation with Robben when he left here or when he left Madrid. A risk v reward question

January 26, 20224 yr Only we could develop a well spirited squad, win the UCL comfortably with it then add characters like Lukaku and Dembele to it. Only us.

If he did indeed want Lukaku and Saul that continues to raise questions about it.
