Omari Hutchinson

Recommended Posts

Apparently Omari Hutchinson (October 29, 2003 (age 18 years)) is joining us on a free from Arsenal u23's, with possibly more players from Arsenal u23's to follow

don't like the excessive celebrations but otherwise a great young player

last season he scored twice against us as well

Hopefully Pottee has promoted him, like Hall, to the first team squad and we therefore get to move this thread soon.

I've been hearing so much hype about this lad I think it's time we see him in a non friendly. If he's up to it I'd like to see him get some mins tomorrow and then he the cup against City. Apparently he reminds some of the old heads at the club of Eden. If so very high praise

Throwing him in against City didn't feel right.

Yes. It was exciting to see him come on, but probably the wrong game to do it as he was a bit like rabbit in the headlights. Would still rather we see him get more chances than the ones who keep failing and lack the hunger, but hopefully Potter will tell him next time to play his natural game and don't be afraid to take players on and lose the ball, otherwise he'll become CHO mark 2!!

Anyone's been following this kiddo's career closely and can give a report on his progress throughout the years? Is he improving on his weaknesses? Has he been dominating the youth and is yet to face a real challenge?

I'm not criticizing him at all for the games against City, but from the few Youtube snippets I've seen and those few minutes against the pros I just have this feeling he won't make at top level, being a Theo Walcott talent at best. Like I said, I'm basing this on mostly nothing so will be pleased to hear I'm completely wrong, it's just a hunch I've had from watching the body language and overall QI on the field (on the tv as well so I could have missed a lot). Seems to have a lot of swagger and ball hogging that won't translate nicely into the adult game in my perspective. For now I'm kinda hoping he's a bit shocked with the level at the pro game and is fully commited to improve and make his mark.

What an odd article. It clearly says the loan fell through because WBA couldn't move a player, and yet it says West Brom hold no bad blood towards Chelsea. No, why would they if the reason for this situation is beyond Chelsea's influence? Spinning headlines for clickbait.

Would be interesting to see what happens with Omari in summer if McKenna comes in, would make sense to keep him around if he knows the managers system. Would need someone else to leave though.. Sterling? Mudryk? Madueke?
