Fair enough. I hope you are right, although I still have some concerns.

Regarding Broja to West Ham there do seem to be some growing suggestions that he might be used as a part exchange for Declan Rice. Supposedly other clubs (e.g. Lazio) are interested in Broja and prepared to pay more than West Ham. So I can only conclude/hope that we might be using him as a bargaining chip in that case.

Price is too low for me, should be 35mill with 5mill add ons.

He's still got four years left on his contract so they don't have to sell him no matter what his current thinking is. I know Daniel Levi is a c**t but he wasn't wrong when he told so many of his Spu.s wantaway players, too bad you have a contract, so get on with it. I'm not saying we should keep Broja against his will but at the same time we're in a very strong position and don't have to do anything that's not in our immediate interest.

That's why selling him to West Ham (of all places!), especially given our dire centre forward situation is odd. Unless we're getting Rice or Bowen at a discount I don't see the reason to accomodate the player and/or that f**king club.

My sentiments exactly .... Particularly so with you last statement. 

Matt Law is reporting Broja went to London to get treatment on his ankle. 

He has 4 years left on his deal. West Ham have to make a deal that makes us happy. So either give us a buy back or pi$$ off you pikey sc*mbags....

There's a quote from Tuchel saying Broja came back only because of an injury (as mentioned above), but who knows whether it's just a smoke screen.

If we are to do this deal with the P**eys, then for God's sake, make them sweat over the price. The only figure I have heard is their opening offer of £30m. Tell them to f*ck off and find another £10mill - OR- start talking in sensible numbers for Declan Rice. It seems that only other Clubs refuse offers, not us.  I would settle for an option on Rice in the summer 2023 window.

There's no urgency for us to sell him now, either another year on loan or get a chance this season ( can't be that hard to break in this team surely). 30M is nothing given the inflation in football, 12 months later he'd be worth 40 if he has a decent season with WestHam. Let's hope we aren't doing the deal now

or sell him to West Ham at next years price 40m and use the 40m to discount Rice coming our way, any time before August 1st 2022
