Luton, Leeds, etc. a nice youtube highlight here and there , turns out to be world class in the eyes of those easily excited. Mikel, Essien, Lampard, Maka, Ballack, Wise, Petit, etc are players that all lived up to the hype. Enzo is still adjusting to the league, but my goodness the excuses from some here are delusional all because we've stunk up the joint . All i know we lose more with him , since he signed for our club You could have maybe somewhat pulled off this act until you mentioned Petit. He was utterly woeful for us.

And I loved Wisey and respected Mikel as a great club servant, ( @coombsie tells me @Nibs still wears his "Mikel is Magic" shirt), but neither were anywhere near world class.

It seems that many people here have the tendency to rate Enzo depending on the final score. He could've easily ended up with 2 assists against them (and at least 3 against NF), he may not be a good shooter but he's been a great passer, if this team wasn't so allergic to scoring nobody would be pissing on him.

September 5, 20232 yr Average rating of 7.49 so far this season, thought he'd been fantastic tbh regardless of the final score.
September 5, 20232 yr Our best player so far beside Sterling and Colwill. His passing is world class, needs to work on his shooting though. Also I think Poch should use him in the build up more like against Pool and West Ham when Chukwuemeka was still playing.

He's more of a goal threat than Enzo. Now we also have Palmer as an option for the number 10 role and hopefully Chukwuemeka is coming back soon.

He's doing his role as a complete midfielder, but we keep playing a back 3 formation for no reason. Enzo in a 4-2-3-1 with Caicedo is the way to go, he can control any given match.

Enzo is rotating with Gallagher between the pivot and number 10 role because of Chukwuemeka's and Nkunku's injuries. The formation is fine, the personnel are in the wrong roles due to injuries and fitness issues.

When you're playing Disasi, T.Silva and Colwill in the backline, along side Gusto and Chilwell, that's a back 3 formation. Watch a bit before you talk.

Poch could put James up front too, that doesn't mean we're playing a back 6.

Even prior to the goal of N.Forrest you can clearly see a back 3 formation with the 2 wing-backs missing as they are further up the pitch. Watch the match leave internet please. PS. In case you don't know, our players Colwill (26, left), T.Silva (6, middle), Disasi (2, right), just like FBref points out. Edited September 6, 20232 yr by Gol15

I'm genuinely not sure if you're just playing dumb now because you know you're wrong... Chilwell is in the opposition half because, yep you guessed it, he's playing as a winger. That picture clearly shows a flat back 4 (Colwill and Gusto in line, Silva and Disasi deeper). Play is shuffled over to over load one side. Be honest, are you honestly trying to say you know more than Silva, who is in training all day everyday and is playing the actual game in question? Come on Gol, you aren't that daft.
September 6, 20232 yr What on earth is our CB from the back 3 doing on the edge of the West Ham box just before Chuk's goal! Surely that should be where the LB is @Gol15?!
