He scored in all of the league games apart from the ones you mentioned. I get that you hate him. I get that you think he’s sh*te but just picking the games where he failed to score to make a point is just really daft.

Most of our fans would replace him if they had a blank cheque book in hand but your vitriol comes across as bitter and very, very selective. Can we do better than him? Almost definitely but we don’t have that person at the club just now and it’s more likely we sign another striker in the summer rather than January I reckon.

I like him but am absolutely aware he needs to improve but he’s 22 with not a lot of experience. He’s the best option we have and is currently on target to score 20 league goals this season and no matter what you say that would be a quality return. For someone who you say can’t do anything other than run it would suggest your reasoning is pretty flawed.

There really is a shortage of top strikers in world football at the moment.

Some are unatainable, like Mbappe, Haaland or Kane. Some are nearing the end of their career, like Lewandowski and some like Lautaro Martinez, Gyokeres or Isak would command a mammoth fee probably in the region of 90-100M. 

One of my favourite players is someone that's probably one of the most underrated players in this country and that is Brentford's Bryan Mbuemo. I know he mostly operates on the wing, but Frank's tactics have him like some sort of hybrid winger/striker coming inside from the right and I know he's played a lot as a second striker next to Toney when Brentford was playing a 3-5-2 formation.

There has been plenty of instances where this hasn't been the case. There was plenty of booing under Potter, Pochettino and even the first game of the season with Maresca against City. Cucurella, Jorginho, Sturridge, Sterling, they were all famously booed off the pitch by Chelsea fans at the stadium, so let's not pretend that it's only fans on a forum that do it.

Thanks for your views on what it takes to be a chelsea supporter. Long term season ticket holder and member...so I have been to the bridge more times than I have violated my wife. But alas, work has taken me overseas....and so for now I will remain an armchair supporter.

He doesn't do enough but really and truly who realistically is out there that can do a better job for us. I can't think of one striker. Oshimein is a risk and could be a flop.

Most of the booing comes from the tourists and if you pay your money you are entitled to react however you want. People walk out of the theatre or pop concerts and films and boo if there isn't an encore at a gig.
