HE IS RUBBISH! Jim, stop being ridiculous. When Jackon has a bad game I call it. Funnily enough before he scored against Liverpool, I had literally wrote on the match thread that he needs to come off for Nkunku. I also said against United too he should have came off. Today he was poor again but again the main man expected to be the creative output was below par again. So please don't refer to me as a fanboy because I am not. I just give him credit when it is deserved rather than posting complete utter nonsense at every opportunity.
November 10, 20241 yr 2/3 games on the sidelines needed. Don’t want to be overly critical as there are players that offer less he does imo, but CF is so important as we all know. But a few games of Nkunku can only be a good thing, for the team and also my mental state.
November 10, 20241 yr I'm so fed up of defending him, he's just so ineffective in most games we play. He'll have his defenders but their standards have just dropped
November 11, 20241 yr He definitely dropped a level or two in recent games which is disappointing. Hes so good at doing these flicks to beat the press but we didn’t see any of that today. He’s so crucial to our build up play though, I can’t see Nkunku sustaining attacks like Jackson. Theres nobody else. Looking back, maybe we should have signed that fella from Atletico Madrid or Duran. As much as I love Felix I don’t really see how he can fit in, especially with Palmer and Nkunku ahead of him.

Jackson has probably driven me to insanity, but I think Guiu would do decent with the likes of Palmer, Nkunku and Neto around him adding the flair whilst he plays in the box and tries to get on the end of things and press defences. 100% agree! Jackson has been a passenger and been terrible the last few games! Why not give Guiu the chance! or at least 'a' chance! It's almost as if the club are trying to justify the cost/contract and pray Jackson turns into a powerhouse!
November 11, 20241 yr We started the season with very quick counters and Jackso excelled. I remember Maresca saying something along the lines that he thought our counters were too quick. Now we are seeing more of Maresca’s dna in the way we play and I think Jackson isn’t nearly as effective when it seems we are happy to let the other team be completely set before we attack them. Even though Nkunku isn’t a 9 I think he would have been suited better today. Nkunku wouldn’t be as reliant on Palmer to be effective
November 11, 20241 yr Took his offside goal well... that's all you can really say for him. Otherwise is a case of another of Marescas favorites playing on despite not playing well. Even Salah gets subbed when he is not playing well.
November 11, 20241 yr He's not rubbish, and he's not great either, the truth is in the middle. He's a decent player, that's it, if we want to be a elite team, he's not good enough to be our number 1. It's as simple as that really, he's young and still has potential, he's got a decent eye for goal, but he's also inconsistent and has poor decision making. He's good to keep around as I think he'll always bring goals to the team, but he has too many poor games to be starting I reckon. The manager at the very least needs to utilise his options more, Nkunku isn't playing enough.

November 11, 20241 yr Hard to be critical of Jackson, when you've got the guy who's supposed to be playing him in, Noni, firing wildly into row z for 75% of the match. And occupying the position, as Neto quickly demonstrated, he should be playing in. Edited November 11, 20241 yr by Bebe1980

I'm with you, Noni and Jackson don't really warrant their starting places - Felix, Nkunku and Sancho... think Mourinho would have brought on all three just to mix it up a bit yesterday.

You need to get over this buddy... Really sad behaviour and im sorry you feel the need to post dribble on here 24/7 and try and engage me in it. Grow up mate and move on in life. Good luck. Should have been subbed yesterday and he along with a few other forwards need to have a think about how they contribute to the side when not playing well. Jackson wasnt the only anonymous player yesterday. Anyhow, Have a lovely week Jim and good luck pushing through your weird obsession. Edited November 11, 20241 yr by bluetrooper

He's often moving in the wrong direction instead of trying to pull defenders away to make space for the player about to shoot or for himself. Or he just doesn't move at all.

I recall 1 shot, but can't recall the other 74.7542% of the time....

As he showed again yesterday, and last week against man utd, and in the first game of the season against city, and in the match against forest, and in the match against bournemouth. In all these games he has been absolutely horrendous. The flip side is that he has had 1 genuinely good performance this season - against west ham. He also had a good 20 min spell against newcastle when he put away his tap in well.... that's it.

There were a couple of times yesterday when Palmer or Neto were looking to feed him and he just stood there facing them, looking gormless as usual. Must be incredibly frustrating to play with.

I mean....sofa score says so, because against west ham he scored 9, so yeah, he is pretty amazing. Oh and he has as many assists this year that Lewis Cook at bournemouth and Elliot Anderson at Forest....so, obviously he is mustard.... ....At least that's what @Ukraine Bolt says. But then @Ukraine Bolthas asked me not to tag @Ukraine Boltin any messages again, you know, in the post where @Ukraine Bolt stated the obvious by calling me a weirdo. Oh, I think i did a boo boo....
