Generally speaking, in most normal understanding of the term, a streaky player is someone who scores in bursts, then goes on a bit of a dry spell. Scoring in a couple of consecutive matches (a hot streak) and then going a few games without scoring (a cold streak).

Lukaku was a good example (not necessarily for us!) - where he would go on a good run of 7 or 8 goals across 5 games, then not score for another month or so. Giroud was another. Where are you getting 8 months lol. He didn’t score for 5 months and 2 of those months he was out injured.

Having a period of high output followed by an equal period of low output is the very definition of a streaky player.

The quality of posting got a bit better towards the end of last season - the Newcastle red really helped make the offenders - including those in the cartel - start to change their tune and advocate for change.

Unfortunately though it seems as if absence really does make the heart grow fonder - because they seem to be creeping back, and once again slowly trying to get in little snippets of arguments here and there to try and convince that Nico is actually a half decent footballer... with the quality of the thread once again crashing.
