He isn't good enough for the bench. He is trash both as a footballer and a human being. The worst player Chelsea have had for a very very long time.

Have been banging the drum forever, and accept I am a broken record - but when we combine a)talent on the pitch b)football IQ c) general brain and personality - this guy is a zero.

Some people struggle - but you can see try and are lovely boys (werner). Some people are c**ts but rip it up on the pitch (costa). some people are not natural goal scorers, but are so evolved with their football IQ that it makes up for it (Eidur). Some people are good at football - but lack the mentality to succeed here (morata).

This guy however - he has nothing. He is sh*t on the field (despite asking for a long time - even his biggest fanboys have only been able to say he is good at running around and chasing). sh*t with his football mentality and IQ and a sh*t person off the field.

If I had a gun....

Jackson ain't anyone's favourite player. But comments like this. In particular the last line are just disgraceful. As if this wasn't picked up by the moderators. At the time I rolled my eyes, but now seeing the way he's carrying on about Jota (RIP). Is this really the sort of person that is contributing anything positive to this forum.

Thanks for your opinion. For full clarity, I also advocated for him being sent to the Glue factory....along with all the other useless equine that are not fit for purpose. If I had a glue gun....

They don't kill horses with a glue gun.

Jackson would be a fan favourite even with the bozo gene in front of goal but his disciplinary record having as many cards as goals really irritates me.

Very hard for such an unlikeable human being to be a fan favourite.

The Lovely Boy Turbo Timo was a favourite, because he was a lovely chap, tried hard, kept going, and was all about the team - despite often being sh*t.

The Donkey is all about himself. Look at how he has acted when subbed, acts like a twat off the field, and generally being a braindead fool on and off the pitch. Not fan favourite material

His days are numbered, ain't no way he gets into the team in front of Delap or Joao Pedro without producing

Was my thoughts also. Actions speak louder than words, and those two signings, selection, and the fact Joao Pedro only joined a couple of days ago and was still picked ahead, said a lot.

Beyond that, Joao’s link up play, touch and overall contributions made Jackson look very average.

Early days, but I'm not convinced Delap is ahead of Jackson on what we have seen so far, but agree Joao Pedro is clear of both of them.

Delap and Jackson as Centre forwards is not even close. One plays as a traditional forward should - making intelligent runs and linking play. The other charges about without any real plan or aim.

Delap seems to be in a rut, in that he appears to have Ipswich mentality thinking everything is a battle, whereas he is at a top club now its very different. Those two central defenders set him up to fail by winding him up. Not too many attempts on goal either, almost no threat. I imagine Maresca will have him 3rd choice at the moment with the dynamic Pedro 1st choice by a mile.

Said this before, he needs to be tutored by Drogba. He's the perfect archetype for that style of footballer

Preseason could help Delap a lot. Shouldn’t have any holiday after CWC if he wants to get up to speed before the season starts. Needs to fine tune his overall game up to the standard our players are currently at.

Couldn't disagree more, everyone needs a break or we'll be back here in March wondering why our player is burnt out.

Yah... that's my thinking too - needs to drop that baggage and step up a level or two.

Having said that, I didn't feel stressed when watching him play - seems to know what he's doing.
