Milan want 20M for Maignan.

We probably want in the region of 50M for Jackson.

But its also more than just football metrics. There is balance and harmony within the team and dressing room to consider as well. He has failed to demonstrate this on a number of occasions.

I watched a harmonious, unified group of hard working, high intensity PSG players cruise past a Real Madrid team that would be in anybody's Top 3 of clubs in world football currently. Alonso, the new guy, was not helped by bringing on Carvajal, Modric and Militao to mask the fact that both Vini Jr and a recovering, underweight Mbappe were largely ineffectual but couldn't be subbed because they are both egotistical, high maintenance arseholes, who would have given merry hell if they had been subbed in a world cup semi final.

Also i would question whether Jackson himself could ever replicate 15 goals in a season. If Jackson is converting 15 goals in a season then we are creating so many chances that any decent CF could be in the mid 20s

I understand your point on the selling value and you might be right but there also is a scenario where you need the money for the sale and that player carries a good value AND you can lose the player without making the squad any worse. I think Madueke is that for sure and Jackson might be as well.

Actually Jackson is a good shout. He is the best ball carrier

I wanted him to succeed last season and he began well.... But his football brain seems non existent, if he has two choices he seems to make the wrong one and his petulant gobby attitude which brings him card after card lets the team down consistently.
I've come to actually dislike him as a person and don't like his persona on the pitch most of the time.. Oh and he missis far too many sitters and rarely scores a blinder like the two from pedro in the week.
So for me i want him gone, i'm sure the club will make a profit on him and those saying only sell when we have replacements, well both Delap & Pedro are an upgrade as far as i see.
