Apparently Liverpool have indicated/offered 100 million.

I don’t get why people are worried about his game time, far better him being used sparingly this season than him being expected to win us matches like last.

This is how you develop a young talent like that, not with pressure and expectations. Allow him to come off the bench for 20-30min cameos playing against tired opponents.

We haven’t even gone behind in games yet who’s to say all 4 won’t play if we switch to a back 4.

He isn’t seeing that though, and he isn’t going to get it under Alonso. Yesterday our forward 3 were dead on their feet after the 65th min and the press wasn’t really there. We needed someone to relieve the pressure and move the ball up the pitch, but he spent the 2nd half trying to undo the mess he created with the lineup/set up. Let’s be honest until he score in the 72min, Palmer was a prime candidate to be hooked.

He got 7mins v Fulham, those are the kind of mins he and other wingers are looking at this min. His next start will be v Leeds in the Cups if he is lucky without European football. Won’t be surprised if Ancelotti doesn’t bother calling him up for Brazil’s next internationals, which will speed up his exit.

The season started 1 week ago mate, he’s a 19yr old kid who’s coming back from injury I think it’s a bit premature to be demanding game time, especially how the front 3 have started.

If he wants to play top level European football he’s got to expect competition and rotation at any top club.

I think people look for problems when there aren’t any.

I’ve given this some serious thought and the only fair deal for Estevao would be Rio coming the other way.

He's been injured for too long, we need to have patience with him.

Have to think they’d reject any offer at this point unless it’s obscene money (150M). His value isn’t going to drop - and just needs time to regain match speed after the injury.

I’m not worried about Estevao at all. He’ll get plenty of game time and is genuine competition for Palmer and Rogers.

If he’s good enough he will play.

This is needless doomerism. It's been three games and Estevao is coming off a major overuse injury. The world does not need yet another Christian Pulisic, Ansu Fati, Jadon Sancho etc who are mentally and physically busted before the age of 24.

For the sake of the team, Alonso also has to juggle between allowing players to build momentum, getting results, and getting players match-fit and ready to peak for the mid-season.

It's very early days in his development. He's not going anywhere and if this rumour is true its just Liverpool showing an early interest so at some point in the future they can say they have been long time admirers.
