Every time I watch De Bruyne now, he looks like a player whos legs have gone. He will never lose the quality, but without the same agility, I have doubts we will see much of it.

Would he even take a pay cut to play for us?

His influence on the young group plus his undoubted talent might be worth a look if he was willing to take a pay drop. Still a quality player.

we don't play quickly - so not sure the pace is an issue

He is the sort of player that would change 1 point into 3 points a few times.

Would be nice if it’s 0 - 0 in 75 minutes and De Bruyne is coming on.

We desperately need experience and he has it all, he can teach the players what it takes to win trophies and be consistent.

He goes against everything the owners believe in though.

Can’t see it happening. He is leaving City because of “business reasons”, and was on the verge of moving to Saudi last season because the offer was life changing. If the club was requesting Osimhen to making sacrifices to sign for the club, there is no chance they will be able to pay either a sign on fee or wages for De Bruyne.
