Posted February 19, 200817 yr How did Materazzi end up with two yellow's?! That was a joke, and again the ref gives an advantage to the Scousers. And can someone take out tubby, I never hated a person as much as him!!!
February 19, 200817 yr I am not watching that game, but given that it is the hot-head Matzeratti, that does not surprise me one bit that he received two yellows.
February 19, 200817 yr Author None of the yellows were deservered, that's the problem here. The second one was given because he puts his hand on Torres shoulder.
February 19, 200817 yr the 2nd yellow was a total joke. you wont be able to breathe on an opponent soon.
February 19, 200817 yr I am watching that game, and it seemed a bit harsh to me. Belgian ref, what do you expect Shame though that Inter are down to 10 men for most of the match. How about sending off a Scouser to compensate, ref?
February 19, 200817 yr Second one was arguably a yellow as it looked like a deliberate pull back on Torres but the first one was ridiculous.
February 19, 200817 yr In that case, you really have to blame Matzeratti for being stupid enough to foul Torres and thus get sent off. If the opposite was true, whereby the second yellow was debatable, then you can put all blame on the referee.
February 19, 200817 yr The first 'yellow' was a joke. Once again Liverpool get a bit of luck in Europe
February 19, 200817 yr Never mind the red card. A scabby, deflected shot and a cross that went in. I think we can book them a place in the final now!!
February 19, 200817 yr The second one was given because he puts his hand on Torres shoulder. How do you know he never had a knife in his hand? It's certainly possible given Matternasty's previous.
February 20, 200817 yr Materazzi has become a warlock of some sort. Apparently if he puts his hand on you, you take 3 or 4 more steps like normal but then suddenly -- but only momentarily -- lose control of all muscles and collapse in a jelly-like heap. You quickly spring back up to your feet, wondering what happened. He's amazing.

February 21, 200817 yr Shocking sending off and they had the upper hand for the rest of the game . Playing against 10 men at home . So what's the bets now that the poxy c**ts get to another final ? Just watch , my biggest fear can easily become a reality , you only have to look at last nights game , the 2 jammy goals, the shocking sending off so early in the game, it all adds up to another dose of Scouse glory with the worst yet to come.
February 21, 200817 yr To be fair, Liverpool seem like they would of easily won this even if the referee hadn't sent him off, also Liverpool were denied an (apparently) clear cut penalty. But still, last time Liverpool won the CL they finished 5th didn't they? I'd probably be happy for them to be success in Europe constantly if it means they're going to do so badly in the league :)
February 21, 200817 yr Yellow cards, red cards, penalty, no penalty, you can't ignore the fact that Rafa is the undisputed No.1 tactical genius when it comes to playing against ten men in Europe.
February 22, 200817 yr To be fair, Liverpool seem like they would of easily won this even if the referee hadn't sent him off, also Liverpool were denied an (apparently) clear cut penalty. Blize - You gonna have to be a tad more careful here mate. The words "To be fair" and "Liverpool" should NEVER been seen in the same post. A more accurate summation of what you are trying to say would be "Diving cheating scum get assisted by a dubious referee on yet another Incredible Anfield European Night" Kev
