we will beat the scousers

Featured Replies

Well not postive sorry.... I am not confident that Grant can get them fired up enough (they shouldnt need it) but Fenebache should have been a lot easier than they were.

Positive is that the second leg is home

Time to show them what a "special european atmosphere" night is really like 431.gif

Come on Chelsea ::Scalf::

People say Liverpool are lucky in this competition, but we are looking the "luckiest" team in it this year.

Who knows. With a firm and fair ref, the 2nd leg at home and another big dollop of luck we could do it.

Sorry. That's about as positive as I can get with the formation and the football we are playing at the moment.

If Liverpool beat us AGAIN I hereby swear I will smear poo over my whole naked body and run through the streets of Dublin.

And will you be uploading pictures to the 'gallery' section?

Back to topic.

The ironic thing is that under Jose, one of the best managers in the world, we were narrowly beaten by a non-existant goal and penalties by Liverpool. (people easily forget the league cup final, charity shield and league victories during his tenure) We now have a manager with no Champions league experience, no experience of managing a top club in Europe, and a manager who doesn't even posess the required UEFA coaching badge to do his job.

Sod's Law says we'll go through, if you can't be a world class manager, be a lucky one happy0034.gif (just ask Rafa!)

Just think if it was us who had that horrible penalty called against us at the 89th minute. Arsenal has a right to be seething right now. Perhaps it puts the goal-no goal controversy with Gallas in the back seat.

i would prefer the first game to be played at anfield first then come back to the bridge. Can't stand listening to those scousers at home so i'd rather us second so we pound them into the ground laughing.

you'll fit in well

If we lose to these rat munching, self-delusional, arrogant, stinking bar steward scumbags AGAIN, and if a certain plastic Scouse git who once slammed the door in my face, because I was naive enough to try to be polite to the waste of space c**t - the door of his parents home mind you, the sad git was in his late 30's at the time and still lived with his parents - says a f**king WORD .. I think I'd better end this post here. You have no idea how much I hate this slimy fat git. The very epitome of the plastic scouser. "I'm a Liverpool fan" he boasts. As if it's an achievement to be proud of. Pathetic bloody low life piece of sh*t.

And one more thing. A personal message from me to any Scouser, plastic or otherwise who happens to browse this forum,

f**k OFF YOU RAT MUNCHING LOW LIFE c**t. f**k RIGHT OFF AND DIE YOU SCUM SUCKING PIECE OF sh*t.

I agree with that assessment.

The biggest plus in our favour is that this time we get the second leg at home, I think if we had perhaps had this luck on one of the last occasions we would have got through. The "Anfield factor" may be over egged a tad but I really do believe it makes a difference.

We are playing poorly at the moment but thanks to a very easy run of teams (have we really actually played anyone of real strength yet?) it hasn't mattered as there has been no Milan et al to punish us for it.

If we want to beat Liverpool we are going to have to be far less sloppy and more concentrated in our play (which hopefully we will be).

I don't worry about the Grant factor so much for this game, in that I think (a) the players will rouse themselves for such a big game and (B) he can actually help us in confusing the hell out of Benitez!

If we lose to these rat munching, self-delusional, arrogant, stinking bar steward scumbags AGAIN,

Sorry, I just don't get what you're trying to say here? Could you be a little more blunt in your assessment of our Liverpool friends? icon_lol.gif

lofty, i may be wrong, but ive a feeling you dont like scousers.... good lad. cant stand the scumbags. pretentious, self indulgent, victim mentallity, scrounging, arsey muck.

This will be a difficult game and it will be decided on tactics. Benitez has a habit of making the correct decisions in Europe , but he has to trip up sometime. We need an away goal no doubt , no injuries , a starting 11 without Anelka as a winger but up front with Drogs , why wait until the Bridge to go chasing a game . We are capable of getting a result but this lot will be fired up for this and Torres is my big worry.

Despite those who believe that the penalty at anfield v arsenal was controversial, may i just say that they did put 4 goals past them on the night. (5 in total)

Fenerbache had NEVER reached that stage in the competition, and won the first leg against supposed challengers, whilst they scored an own goal to give chelsea the away goal.

I think the game will be a lot closer with the second leg at the bridge, and could go either way, depending if chelsea turn up in the first leg.

And as for atmosphere debates, talk of possibly bettering that of anfield is pretty far feched. i was at the league game at the bridge and the atmosphere was dire. fair enough different competition and all but still. Why dont chelsea think about bringin their own flags?
