Tuff one, Kaka is a better player IMO, but we need I stiker more than another midfielder so I went with Robinho.

No contest for me. Kaka will deliver week in week out and we would remember him forever more. Robinho will blow hot and cold and disappear frequently. I'm still not convinced I want Robinho at all let alone comparing him with one of the finest players on the planet.

I don't know! It's a tough one , I would be chuffed if we signed either of them so I went with Kàkà because he would probably be more consistent than Robinho but either way I'd be happy!

its not as simple as wich one, if both where 20 mill then you would take kaka but if robinio is 20 mill and kaka is 70 mill thant id rather take robinio... as we have seen kaka wont garanetee glory though he would be a difference maker. but handing 70 mill over to a broken milan would alow them to really rebuild and re-eshtablish them selves in europe and we have to start looking at these teams as competition rivals like we do domesticaly.

however if it is purely based on which out of the two no price considerd i think a better comparision would be messi or kaka, two players a lot closer in ability

I choose Eidur. Honestly I do. I think he would be great back where he is loved and looked after.

Still plenty to offer, especially as Phil seems to like one striker to play as a link to midfield which is perfect for the blonde one.

Good shout, I was assuming the question was just about who would you rather have in the team, irrespective of money involved

Definitely Kaka, but I have no idea why we continually torture ourselves over the prospect of seeing him in blue. If it happens, it would be amazing, but it wont...

Kaka. He can play off Drogba without a problem.

this.

but robinho would improve our squad.

I don't think we do need to look at Milan, Real or other European powers as rivals really.

They only become our rivals IF we draw them in the Champion's League - and the chances of drawing any one particular big European club are pretty slim. Chances are we are only ever going to play against Milan every 5 years or so in the Champions League. Certainly not often enough to actively NOT sign players from them.

Compeletly the opposite with our Premier League rivals - we are guaranteed to play each of them at least twice, and their results against other clubs in the Premier League effect us as well. So if they strengthen, they are (1) more likely to beat us when we play them (2) more likely to beat other lower clubs, making it harder for us. So not a good idea to pay inflated prices for their players.

In short, giving Milan 70 million for Kaka and letting them rebuild doesn't really effect us. Well at least not in the same way that giving Man United 70 mil for Ronaldo or giving Liverpool 70 million for Torres would.

Within the next season or so, Milan are going to rebuild their sqaud anyway, with or without us buying Kaka. I think for them, the easiest way of getting their hands on the cash needed is to let him go. And if we don't go in for him, they will move on to their next biggest paying option - Real Madrid, who will jump at the chance given that they have been snubbed over Ronaldo.

Basically, if he's on offer, I don't think we should hestitate.

I voted for Kaka but I feel people are underestimating the talents of Robinho. Like someone before me said, if you give me Robinho for 20 mill I would take him before Kaka at 70 mill no doubt. Robinho is one of the top talents around and last season he was finally showing signs of becoming a world class player that his potential suggested early in his career.

I voted Robinho purely on what I think we need as a team.

I think we need a winger/striker as we look short in that area, and bringing in Kaka, would only false out someone like Essien, Lamps, Deco or Ballack.

Not only that, but I think £70m for Kaka, as good as he may be, is a stupid amount of money.
