Bridge to Rottenham

To be honest we could afford to let Bridgey leave, we've got Ash who's made the position his own when fit, and Paulo that can do an able job there as well, we've also got Ryan Bertrand to bring through

As much as i'd love to see Bridgey stay, i think he's good enough to be playing first team football somewhere else, rather than keeping our bench warm every week

Absolutely spot on, and Ryan Bertrand is a great little player in the making.

Bale is a very good prospect. I'd be happy with a swap deal. We need some Welsh talent (apart from Rhys Taylor of course).

You're joking right? Gareth Bale is a glorified set-piece taker, he spends the match playing with his hair clips until he gets a free-kick or a corner, i wouldn't swap Bridgey for any Premiership left-back except for Evra or Clichy

Really hope he doesnt leave especially to them  gave me one of my (and im sure many others) favourite moments as a fan

It also wasnt long ago we were all agreeing he deserved to be ahead of ashley and i still don't think there's a huge difference

I can't see why we would let him go to be honest,

He is the best back up LB around and we are an ambitious club...why do we want back up as good as Alex and Ivanovic for JT and Carvalho..Belletti Ferreira for Boswinga?

because if we get a long term injury we still need to have a great player ready to step in.

I know its nice to think a youngster could come in and do a job but imagine a title decider at OT with Ronaldo attacking down the right, Ashley has him in his pocket for the first twenty minutes but pulls up with an injury?

I like to think we have an ample replacement in those situations as we have for the other defensive positions.

Personally I call shenanigans

I used to get nervous about Bridgey but look at how much he is playing this season. Scolari is clearly keen on giving all members of the first team squad their fair shake unless they be young

IMO Bridge is in a better situation now than he ever was at Chelsea barring under Claudio. Jose never seemed to trust him before or after the leg break, which was less than he deserved.

I think Bridgey will want to stay and fight for his place and the title here :D I dont think/hope he isnt going anywhere, fellas
