1997 FA cup Final or the League 2005 ... were both very special. Probably 1997 shades it for me.
2005 was great I had such a brilliant time in Bolton too, the Bolton fans were excellent and stayed behind and helped us celebrate, always had an eye out for Bolton since (think they were just pleased we took it off Utd) Then the celebrations back at The Bridge Charlton think it was the first Makalele goal brilliant...
But 1997 was the first major trophy in my life time and I was just blown away it was brilliant and I think the last of the great FA cup finals as far as I was concerend, and probably the last big cup final song etc etc ... great day brilliant atmosphere "The only place to be every other Saturday"
I remember the weather was great too, I went to a BBQ in the evening and passed out on the lawn...

Yeah '97 I was shall we say a little bit drunk by the end of the day Robbie D won me a £100 I had him as first goal scorer and us to win 2-0 so I was very nervous for the last 10!
Went down the Broadway to see the cup back on the sunday, then got on the piss again, good times

1970 cup final, and who could forget the Zenith Data cup in 1990, well apart from everyone of course.

2nd division 1988/89, same as Shedpensioner. We won it at home with John Bumstead getting the only goal in a 1-0 win v Leeds Utd.

It was the putting competition at Kessingland for me. My bruv fancied himself as a bit of a pro and I managed to take the title in a putt-off. Great day and seeing his face as a was called up to the stage in the evening to collect my trophy will live with me forever. I found it a lot of years later and left it on the mantle piece in his house - classic!
On a Chelsea note, it was the league 2005. Anyone can win a cup competition but only the best team can win the league and I never thought that would be us. And that last game against Charlton, what an epic day out that was.

1) FA Cup 1970. 2) FA Cup 1997 3) FA Cup 2000 4) FA Cup 2007 5) FA Cup 2009 6) FA Cup 2010 7) ECWC 1971 8) ECWC 1998 9) Members Cup 1985 =10) Premier league
Footnote: Having grown up in the 60's its still the FA Cup over everything, I'd rather we won that than the Champions League or Premier any season.

Although I remember 70 and 71 I was probably a bit too young to appreciate them and only started going regular the season after, I wonder if I'd have stuck it out if I knew that it'd be 26 years until the next silverware, but for me the 97 FA Cup, even though I couldn't get a ticket, was the best for me, and a nose behind would be Stockholm the year after, hitchhiked there and back, best week of my life.
