Straight swap for Martinez?

Very excited about Gallagher. His pressing is immense and he has end product too. Him and Mount pressing will create lots of headaches for opposing teams in the future. The age, quality, and quantity of our attacking options is very exciting.

It seems like Weston McKennie is available. What does everyone think of him?

If we get desperate for depth at CM, we could try Reece James there as a temporary fix. He seemed to do well there for Wigan.

I really like what we’ve done this transfer window. We’ve improved our squad and have done it in a pretty sustainable way when you look at our player sales. I’m not sure many other top teams could say that.

The most exciting thing about our current squad is that it should only get better. We don’t have many players that are headed towards the twilight of their careers.

Surely, Dave has to be one of our best value transfers ever.

I’m confused as to why these players agree to extend their contracts with us, knowing that they’ll be loaned out to different places every year? Don’t they want to move on to a more permanent situation?

I think either Werner or havertz. Our attacking players all seem to be pretty positionally flexible so I think Tuchel will have no problem making something work if need be.

I’m not saying he’s good enough to lead the line for us, but I believe there’s a chance he’ll develop into a great striker and I’d hate to see that happen at the benefit of Arsenal. I think the ideal scenario would be to sell him to a mid table club with a buy back clause in case he comes good. As I typed this I realized that Arsenal are a mid table club nowadays but you get what I mean lol

I feel like Tammy has done well enough to deserve more time with us. That being said, I’m not totally against selling him. But it would be awful if he became an elite striker while helping Le Arse.

I’m American and I can’t resist the urge to not talk about the USMNT after reading this. Klinsman was absolutely right to push players to develop their game in Europe. But what I didn’t like about the klinsman era is the introduction of a bunch of non-Americans playing for the national team. Julian Green, Jermaine Jones, John brooks, etc. Yeah it’s nice to have the talent on the team but I’d take true American pride, grit, and heart over talent any day of the week. Maybe that’s just the way national teams go nowadays but I’d be interested in hearing everyone’s thoughts on this.

I just love his attitude and work rate and it seems like every manager that has had him feels the same way. He’s great on the field but I would argue that his leadership and attitude will be an even greater asset to the team for years to come.

I read an article about this deal today and I didnt realize that Aston Villa have also signed Bertrand Traore. I think it'll be interesting to see how he does in the premier league. I remember being pretty excited about him when he spent that preseason with us.
