Overall I'm happy with the appointment of Big Phil, he should command a lot of respect due to his past success and experience, I mean how many clubs can say they've got a World Cup winning manager in charge? His lack of recent club management is a slight concern for me though, as I wonder will his motivational skills work on a daily basis?? We'll have to wait and see I suppose. Best game of the tournament so far, Holland look well up for it (I've got a fiver on them at 14/1), great second goal and I must say VDV looked impressive, I'd much rather us go after him than Deco.

There's only one reality TV show worth watching and that's The Apprentice. I must confess though I will probably watch the first night of Big Brother (if I'm back from football), if only to see the losers going in who of course will still be losers when they leave. I did watch the odd bit of Big Brother in Australia last year when I was visiting my sister (she loves it ) and their version appeared a lot less contrived than ours.

I must say I enjoyed it but it is decidedly average and when you consider the sum of it's parts that's not really good enough. I watched Iron Man yesterday and for me that kicks the a*se out of Indy 4. Well worth watching.

Please, I'm not blaming JT he was first class tonight and at least he had the bottle to step up, I was just venting, in hindsight maybe I should have waited to write my feelings. The player who should shoulder most of the blame is Drogba, if he hadn't been so moronic to get himself sent off he'd have been taking that pen or one prior.

He slipped I know he slipped but he was still placing it, if he was leathering it down the middle I'm guessing he wouldn't have slipped and even if he had it would've have probably still ended up in the net.

Glad to see the back of Reading, but I won't be surprised if Hunt gets picked up by a premiership team in the summer, so sadly I don't think we've seen the back of him.
