Truly awful performance today. The passing was nonexistent.

So far pretty poor. Lamps looks well off the pace which is to be expected given it's his first game back the problem is it's contributing to us getting over run in midfield. Definite penalty on Joey, no doubt at all.

Maka for me, he was class tonight. Cech was a close second and a special mention for Anelka, who although he didn't score led the line brilliantly. Overall I reckon the whole team played well, even Sidwell!! Although he does look rather desperate when he's attacking, Sweep's pass to him late on was perfect for him to strike without breaking stride but he conspired to mess it up, lack of confidence or lack of ability? I'm afraid to say I think it's the latter. Still he tries hard bless him.

regarding the two sit down announcements, I reckon it was because they realised that our traveling 2,000 were out singing their 30,000+ and they didn't like it one bit. So far so good, I think we're missing Ballack's calming influence on the midfield not to mention his measured passing but other than that I can't complain.
