It is definitely growing. I read that it is now the third most watched sport in the U.S. The team I follow, Atlanta United, averaged 43K people per game last year. After they restructured the schedule that has more matches against teams within driving distance, that number will raise. I attended the opening game against Sporting KC and there were 71K in attendance. That number was surpassed a few weeks later when a more local team, Charlotte FC, came to Atlanta.

I am looking forward to this game. It will be interesting to see how aggressive Tuchel has the team set up in a game we really need to win. This game has a lot of pressure. It will show where he is when pressure games hit. I really think he put out the wrong team for the FA Cup, I just hope we don't see the same thing.

Tuchel loves experience in games like this. I think he is going to start his XI that have the most CL experience.

It is a model that benefits both the club and the players. Dortmund gets some of the best young talent because they will play them. The players know they will be sold to a big club for a big contract and Dortmund gets a big fee. As long as everyone is happy and the fans are getting a good team on the pitch, lots of money to be made for club and players. Tuchel wanted to keep talent and take a run at being a title contender every year. That and his anger about how the bus bombing was handled put an end to his time there.

We watched Porto also and I was talking with my son that they will be very dangerous if they play as well as they did in those games. Juve did not play good football, but Porto never lowered their play or lost concentration.

I think people are underestimating Porto, I watched them across the 2 legs against Juve and they are a well-organized & disciplined team who outplayed and frustrated Juve across the 2 legs. I would much rather play Real Madrid or Dortmund over Porto, both look a lot more open defensively and also seem like bigger and more achievable scalps.

The next nice relaxing game will probably be a pre-season friendly in early August
