Crazy Canuck reacted to just in Our Legend CocoHaven't been on for a little while and having made me early morning coffee, thought I'd catch up on recent TSE posts before today's game.
And then I read this. I can't quite believe it. Coco was one of the posters on here, and on the old CSR, I most enjoyed engaging with. Always up for a laugh. Quick to spot intended humour in people's posts and to add his own twist to it. Passionate, knowledgeable, interesting, insightful and humourous. My God he will be missed on here.
Heartfelt condolences to his family.

Crazy Canuck reacted to axman2526 in Our Legend CocoWow.
Speechless.
I needed to take a few minutes before words would come back to me. I didn't know him outside of this place, but in here he was a top person. Very involved, you could tell he really cared not only about Chelsea, but about this place. It was good to talk with him, we had a laugh in some topics, disagreed in others, and had some great fun finding out who should be reminding who between myself, him and Munk to make predictions in Zetas comp. He even set himself some sort of reminder for this year's comp so I would stop tagging him 🤣
I should have noticed he has not been posting basically at all for a while. Man I feel bad for not seeing it and reaching out.
God's peace to his family and friends, and a thank you for sharing him with us.
God bless you Coco, here is to you.

Crazy Canuck reacted to RMH in Our Legend CocoThat is terrible news. My condolences go to his family. Will be missed for sure. He will, nevertheless, be following Chelsea and the forum closely.

Crazy Canuck reacted to Mod in Our Legend CocoAn extremely hard post to write here on the forum, but our legend and moderator Coco passed away this morning.
He's a private person and only shared details of his illness with me and Loz recently when he knew the outlook wasn't good for him.
His son kindly logged in to his account to share the news.
Coco has always been around on the forum and before that, many years ago on the CSR Forum. I will miss him around here terribly, the place won't feel the same. He loved it here and at times, it felt like he ran things on his own. He even requested to move into a different member group when the time came. He will be truly missed and our thoughts go out to his family.
I would say sleep well coco, but you won't be sleeping and will be powering up Motorbikes on the other side.

League table for our last 20 games (1st game of the 20 was Brentford away on 19th October).
Only goal difference keeping us out of the bottom three ...
-
Could count on one hand the players I would want here next season. The rest cam go, utter frauds the lot of them.
-
Seven games.
No goals in seven games. Unless you have the audacity to call Gallagher’s a goal.

Crazy Canuck reacted to axman2526 in What striker would you sign?Jonathan David would be a good option.

Crazy Canuck reacted to Argo in What striker would you sign?Given how many seem to think reappointing Jose in 2023 is a good idea it wouldn't surprise me if we get multiple votes for Drogba unironically aswell.

Harsh on RLC imo

Over here we say " If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes"

The only thing the players have left to play for is their pride.........and we haven't seen much of that lately. The next 7 games are all dead rubbers anyway...thankfully I'll be on vacation for the last 3 against City, Utd and Newcastle so I'll save some embarrassment at work. Can't see us picking anything up against Arsenal, so any further points in the season is down to getting points from Brentford, Bournemouth and Forest and even then that might be a tough ask. I think all three of these will be draws, although Bournemouth and Forest players will be fighting for their lives, while our players will be fighting for the EXIT. So we should end up with a might 42 points at the end of the year.....well done to Todd and the team.

Crazy Canuck reacted to Edjmendy in Who do you want next as manager?JN will lose the dressing room with all its egos. These players need tough love
-
Pretty much spot on. Of course we are always open to a shot from 20 yards or more with Mr Flappy in goal but outfield wise its the way I would go and is probably the least risky. Playing a centre forward as a centre forward. Who'd have thought

Honestly, what do people expect?
It went kinda as I expected. If lamp played structured football and started hiding player weaknesses, I want him to be fired on the spot.
What this game showed us? Nothing new. In 343 you can hide attacker who does not defend, midfield who cannot defend and defender who can't run. It is more difficult to do so playing back 4.
Player performance wise there was nothing new.
60 m for Cucu continue to be hilarious. He is just a very average player.
Felix can't play in back 4 unless you play him in the middle aka st. Defensively he is just so bad. Is it worthed protecting Felix?
Enzo can't screen backline but that is fine, it is worthed protecting enzo.
Kepa is simply not good enough.
KK can't really play in back 4 unless he is protected
Kai is not a true 9.
Sterling was very bad but this was his first game back after a while
A lot of criticism on Gallagher which is bizzare. Gallagher is not a star but he offered a lot of stuff on the field. Kova on the other hand was 😱😱
Fofana and James were good as usual

Crazy Canuck reacted to BS66 in Wolves v Chelsea (PL) Sat 8th Apr 2023 15:00 GMTIt could be worse if you watch the Leafs, nothing to cheer about since 67 😄

Conte had a genuine playmaker in Hazard, a goal scoring No 9 in Costa, & a solid DM in Matic. That Tuchel season was a freak season, it was during the pandemic and quite a few games were rescheduled. The data makes no sense, & many players outperformed their Expected Goals & Assists data for that season.

If Frank Lampard didn’t realise just how big a task he has on his hands. He will after this game today.

Crazy Canuck reacted to erskblue in Welcome home Super FrankI’m a grumpy, old, cynical, Chelsea Git. That’s my good points!😀
Yet the return of Frankie Lampard has given me some hope. I know it’s only on a short term basis.
He knows the place inside out as player and coach.
The support really identifies with him.
Hopefully he gets the real Chelsea to start turning up!

Crazy Canuck reacted to dkw in Welcome home Super FrankJust enjoy the ride Nibs, we are one of the most chaotic clubs in football, literally no idea what's going to happen next, and it's bloody marvellous.
Imagine being a fan of a boring, ploddy club where nothing ever happens, just plodding on day to day, same old sh*t.
Instead were a club where you wake up in the morning to see what new madness has happened. Have we bought Maradonas frozen dna to clone, are we looking at playing games in a drained Thames.
Maybe we are going to hire a legendary player to pick up the pieces of a poor few seasons, the sack him, then hire a German, then sack him, then rehire the legendary player to pick up the pieces of a poor season....its all box office baby....

Crazy Canuck got a reaction from Carloseyebrow in Welcome home Super FrankThis decision can't hurt. We're not going down and we're not going to Europe next season so if Frankie can, at very least, right the ship go for it. A few results will certainly build some much needed and sorely lacking confidence, Besides, Lamps has all the gear from his first time around so no need to outfit him again. 😁

Crazy Canuck reacted to Bob stark in Welcome home Super FrankI don't understand what not to like.
Attacking football 👍
Playing kids 👍

Crazy Canuck reacted to reparto corse in Welcome home Super FrankHappy about that. Lampard is a good choice to stop this "the boys gave everything" mindset that has crept into the team. We need someone passionate who loves the club now.

Crazy Canuck reacted to LongtimerLurker in Welcome home Super FrankIf you told me a week ago we'd have Lamps until the end of the season I would've bit off your hand. From the board's perspective it's the most logical move. Appoint a club legend someone to instantly connect with the fans and in this case a lot of the players.
For Lamps and Ashley it's an opportunity at greatness once again. I'm sure JT will be around, and I think with their champions league winning experience, past winners both coaches and players working together.
It's a special connection, especially with a point to prove from both sides. They will try and have a decent crack. We have nothing to lose, so we will play with no fear. This is the closest to the old Chelsea we can get right now.
I'm not expecting anything special, but that doesn't mean I don't believe something special won't happen. Our champions league winner is still in the squad as is the player who played the pass. One would say it's a better squad, I think Felix assumes the Werner role and KOs out Madrid. Then on to the finals where Mudyrk gets the winner. Or maybe its the other way around.
Either way it's confirmed we're winning the Champions League 🏆
