Hope he does stay. He is the best of the strikers we have, but the worrying factor is that he is crocked. Them you only have to look at the remainder of our strikeforce. They are ageing... Our current strikeforce for the 2008/9 season: Sheva - 31 (32 in September) Drogba - 30 (31 next March) Pizarro -29 (30 in October) Anelka - 29 (30 next March) and there is the raw Di Santo. Then there is the likes of our midfield, also ageing: Ballack - 31 (32 in September) Deco - 30 (31 in August) Lampard - 30 (31 next June) Mikel and Essien are both young. We have a good age blend for our defence. We need to inject young talent into midfield and in attack. Currently, there is too much of an imbalance there.

For Sporting (can't believe he is there captain at only 21 years of age), he plays mainly just behind the striker or on the right wing. Think he would be a great signing. Played every minute of every match for Sporting last season and scored 12 goals. And at only 21, would be a good investment. And Scolari loves him.
