Reading this thread has made me realise how much I love our defence. Cole, Alex, Terry, Ivanovic, Bosingwa, Ferriera. I cant really think of another team with that quality in choice.

Cant ignore the hugely successful we had last season, I'm sure Ray played a significant part in that.

I have heard alot about Sturridge being a selfish player. But too me that is not a bad thing. I think hes just eager to prove himself. You can take selfishness out of a player, but you cant give him hunger. I hope Studge eventually gets a couple of goals for his hard work.

Not recently admittedly. But he I beleive he has done it a few time since had been with us. I can just see him going to United or Tottenham and getting that arm round his shoulder that he desperately needs. And then we will be watching on as he returns to his best.
