This always happens after a World Cup, pre-season lasts a few games into the season... it takes a while for form and fitness to build up. It isn't at all about how we play yet. Hit the 10 games mark and then we should be trying to win games in style to build some confidence for the rest of the season. Right now, if we keep injuries down and give our main players game time that's what we need, winning makes it even better and if we have some good results that's the icing on the cake, but it's something we shouldn't worry about yet.

Ramires seems to be quietly doing his job, allowing Lucas to play. I'm assuming (and hoping), it's because Lucas isn't trusted defensively, so Ramires is having to do a job covering him, and having to kerb any attacking.... verve?.... he may have. It's late and I'm just throwing words out and hoping they form cogent sentences. Moi, help me out, here.

That's not the issue. We need to be able to completely clear the stadium in 5 minutes flat, in case of a fire, terrorist attack or some other emergency. With only the one road, there simply is no way to get people out faster.

Get the next service packs, although I wouldn't expect that to change much. Take the wireless aerial out, and stick with the ethernet. That'll mean that no one can steal your internet at that time, then do another test. That way you can see if anyone is stealing your bandwidth. I might well think of something else, but it's late.

Sounds like problems on the line, more than problems with your end... to be sure you could use another computer to check, but yeah, if it's a problem their end, there is not much you can do.

Try doing the speed test with an ethernet cable, instead of via wireless. If you still get a reduced speed, then you could be fairly confident that it's a problem with their end, not yours. Well, what would you say we lacked last season? The only things we lacked at any point in my view were, a bit more pace in midfield (especially with the Mikel, Ballack, Lampard combo), which is exactly what Ramires would add, and we occasionally lacked a killer pass, and that creative spark. He might not add the latter, but he'll certainly add the first. Torres would add neither, Kaka would add both, but only if he plays well, which there is no guarantee of, and not that great a chance of in my opinion, and Aguero would add a spark, maybe not with a killer pass, but it'd be there through his dribbling and trickery. McEachran might be the one to add the spark, so could Kakuta, but again, no guarantee they'll be ready. I think Ramires would be a useful addition... not headline grabbing, but very good, and I must say an improvement in something we lacked last season, not that we lacked much, mind.
