Fans Anti- Abramovich protest on Sunday (Merged Thread)
Surely there will be a lot of supporters hopeful that the Bridge keeps it classy, and a lot of others who want their protest to be heard. Roman and the board know this, fans around the world too. Our detractors want to see Blue misery, plus a loss at home. I say let it fly...misery loves company. If our atmosphere is poisoned, at least it's honest. Here's hoping for 3 points, the rest we'll get over eventually.

How weird is this ?
Vanessa P knows....

NBC buys US TV rights for Premier League
They are calling it NBCSN. I'm optimistic that if they spend 85m USD that there will plenty of matches.

MLS All Stars v Chelsea 26/07/12 KO 01:30 BST
^ This guy was rooting against the Blue -- he didn't think his slapdash exhibition side was up for it, but got the last laugh. .l .l

Tim from Cleveland, Ohio, USA
I hope Max grows quickly enough to see Frank Lampard play. He would probably go for David Luiz, instead. Nice 1 point total for Villa after three matches.

Wigan v Chelsea (PL) 19/08/12 KO 13:30 BST
No doubt, Icecoolguy22. I see a 2-1 squeaker over WA, three points to start this off.

This is brilliant!
About 12 Chels in there, maybe more. I like the last :20 because of the tempo. Good stuff...

MLS All Stars v Chelsea 26/07/12 KO 01:30 BST
That is just not right.... I was going to head over to Philly tonight, about a 7 hour drive, but have too much work tomorrow morning to make this go. Not happy about that, but at least it's live on ESPN2. To the good, I'd prefer my 1st live CFC match to be at SB anyway, amongst the faithful. Up the Blues, 3-1 over the MLS all-stars.

Post your CL Final Pics and Videos here
That is such a great contribution, Amputechture. I'm just sadistic enough to enjoy seeing this 15 rows up in the red end. Everything is great the first 3 minutes, then nothing is good for Munchens. Wonder if they call the bird they're flipping "der vogel"? They seem like very cool people, but they adore Ribery, so their credibility is shot. Funny how in the end both teams are down on the pitch, one in a joyous pile, the other toppled in anguish like bowling pins in center circle. The sight across of the visiting Shed End getting their nut is going to be hard to forget. Well done to everyone in Blue for what I have long considered the World Championship. Twelve months of bliss for us all, and nothing but envy from all the haters - red and blue scum, dippers and gooners, QParrrgh, and let's not forget spuds, victims all of an historic theft of their hard-earned berth. But no pity for their anguish, they tried to have what is ours. Getting this automatic bid must really suck for Scouser, since they're the reason for its existence. That and Nando coming good should make that angry vein stand up even farther. We should have a thread called "The worrying decline of people that think Chelsea is on the decline." Yes, we bought a title, but it's professional football - that's the objective of every team. Cheers and Ups to you Champions.

Guardiola wants Chelsea job ...
Pep can relax and wonder what went wrong. RDM is going to hold sway, there could never have been a better audition than this year's turnaround..

MOTM vs Barcelona (H)
Kay Hey Gary is the man, but other defensive guys deserving too

Chelsea V Tottenham (FA Cup SF) 15/05/12 KO 18:00 BST
That was amazing. I went with Frank MOTM for putting the game to bed, along with everything else. Didier and John come close. Today is fantastic, bring on the dippers.

Tim from Cleveland, Ohio, USA
Wow a local! You guys might like young Tim because he is an ale drinking football lover. Moi might appreciate that he reads maybe 100 books per year. I think his favorite team is not CFC, but he's not a scouser, scum or spur. Tim can claim his team when he likes.

Lofty's Wall of Sound - What are you listening to?
Yes Spiller, that is awesome and better that the versions I knew up until now. I'd like to introduce to you my friends William Elliot Whitmore from Iowa, and his vocalizations. If you like this, google some of his other songs and hopefully you will dig this lesser-known artist as much as I do.

Southern Rock Night on BBC TV
Well this thread is right in my wheelhouse. So many of the bands Bluebeard mentioned are from my hometown Jacksonville, Florida. The only glaring omissions is the Outlaws from Orlando FL. Blues-based hard rock with big guitar attack. Since Moi likes the Allman Bros, I'll send out something nice for the Headmistress: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-15ATSFEqRo

Sturridge - is he good enough?
How else do really unhappy fans express themselves? I'm opposed to booing and have never done so, but if the home stand is angry or strongly disappointed, what do you expect to hear? Thankfully, no whistling! It wasn't the general kind at the whole team, it was targeted and hopefully sinks in. I agree with those who've said badge ahead of player.
-
Sturridge - is he good enough?
I don't see this as disgraceful. Sturridge has been repeatedly bitching over not getting service from his teammates. Today, he did this more than usual, visibly calling out his own for not setting him up. Combine this with the fact that given the same option, he will shoot rather than pass, and so we have a guy who needs a smack. Of course strikers should get some slack for outbursts, but this selfish tack that Danny is taking is what's disgraceful. Team chemistry is not our strong point anyway, so we can't afford this nonsense.

Don't even think about it, Nando!
Look, you dipper prat, trolling the web for attention because you have no friends, we'll give you more attention than you want on May 6th at Binfield. You didn't even spell your buster ponytail striker's name right. I see that nicking Carroll from Newcastle has made them a power.again, good luck chasing them on the run in. Try not to get yourself banned here so we can have a laugh at your expense, Scous100.
-
Don't even think about it, Nando!
We fans have the best of both worlds in this. If Nando leaves, we'll be repaid a big chunk of whats already been paid. If he stays, hope lives on for him to come good and be that guy, and as for the cost - lately he's pulling his weight, he's clearly popular on the squad, and whatever his salary, it's Roman's money and good for him being the big spender.

MOTM vs Benfica
Yes, David Luiz, for sure. I don't see the Ferreira furor because he is a pale replacement for Branny (although he did play well). Those two prats on TV said that it's been 2 1/2 years since Benfica was shutout at home. That kind of defensive performance is for me waht it's all about. Those red guys are meat for us at the Bridge, and I'm glad we drew them. Cheers

Chelsea v Napoli (CL) 14/03/12 KO 19:45 GMT
Oh my lord, that was transformative. Roman being rewarded with a great showing from the fans and the team. Robbie burnishing his claim to the manager's job. Legends destroying the criticism they get from the haters. Youngers players busting their asses 100% for the cause. As one of the UEFA Great Eight, we just established that Chelsea have not fallen by the way.. Like someone else said here, this feeling tonight makes all the suffering worthwhile. Truly a great night to be CFC, everywhere. Tomorrow brings some early work and then off by noon to watch the start of the USA's college basketball tournament, March Madness. But for sure, I'll be raising glasses all along for the Blues and what they just accomplished.

MOTM v Napoli
Welcome on, DantheMan23, dig your name! I went with Ivanovic, and would have done the same even without the deciding goal. Defended his position, provided cover, moved inside to CB when needed, passing, crossing and shooting, Bran the Man was immense tonight. Nod to JT, Luiz, Lampard, Ramires and Drogba, who were all deserving as well.
